I Know You (On Hold)

Chapter 12:

" Annella, you look amazing." Jasper spoke as Annella dipped into his car and buckled her belt up.

" Thanks, your looking fine as well." She smirked as she leaned over the center and placed a kiss on his lips before settling down in her seat.

" So to the caravan then?" He asked as Annella nodded to him and he began to drive off out of Dunkeld. Once on the motorway, he drove for around ten minutes before he took a turn off just before a bridge over the River Tay. Soon they were pulling up outside of the Caravan they would be staying in for the weekend.

" This is very nice." Jasper said as he stepped out his car and looked around at the secluded area.

" Yeah, I would come up here with my parents all the time." She said as she closed the door and walked up to the caravan door. She opened it and switched on the lights before putting her backpack onto the bed. She unzipped her bag and pulled out a bottle of Amaretto and a bottle of diet cola. I hope you like to drink.

" I, um, I cant. I am on some tables that I can't drink with." Jasper hesitated as he told her. Annella nodded in understanding and poured herself a drink before walking over and sitting down on the hard sofa. Jasper smiled and took off his shoes before sitting down next to her. Annella leaned over and rested her head against his chest and he wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

" You know, my life was alone and hard before you came along. I know that sounds cliche but it is so true." She muttered as she drank her drink. "You have become my light and hope." She muttered again.

" Before I came to Scotland, I had someone in my life. She was my world, or at least I thought she was. " Jasper spoke with a sigh as he looked down to Annella.

" What happened to her? If you don't mind me asking?" She asked carefully.

" I don't. Annella you are my life now and you should know." Jasper said before kissing her forehead and relaxing with Annella in his arms. "There was an accident involving an animal. We had had an argument and she ran of on her own. We found her soon after the attack. She never made it."

" I'm sorry, Jasper." Annella spoke as she put her drink down and hugged him tightly. She pulled away and sat on his lap as she looked down into his eyes. Her hand caressed his cold cheek before she placed a soft kiss on her lips. " Come on, lets go to bed."

The next day Annella and Jasper spent walking around the surrounding forest and enjoying many different views. Soon it was time to head back to the caravan for the night and they sat watching movies until Annella sighed before switching the tv off at the end of the film. She moved about under the duvet so she was now sitting saddling his lap, facing him. Her arms were hooked around his neck as she look deep into his dark golden eyes.

" Your eyes as so beautiful. Its almost like they change colour." Annella whispered as she leaned down and kissed his cold lips softly.

" Well, that has to do with the lighting." Jasper smirked before kissing her again. They both giggled before smiling stupidly at each other. "Your eyes as beautiful too, they are so blue they could put the Maldives to shame."

" Thanks." She whispered as a rose blush appeared on her cheeks. Jasper smiled enchanted by the colour and lifted a finger to feel the warmth that radiated off them. Annella suddenly let off a yawn before slapping her hand over her mouth.

" Oh my God, I'm so sorry." She mumbled through her hand as Jasper just laughed and kiss the back of her hand.

" I think it might be time for bed, don't you?" He asked as she nodded in response. "Come on then." He chuckled and stood up while holding her in place. Annella now had her arms and legs wrapped around him tightly as he walked through to the bed room. He laid her down onto the double bed and helped her under the duvet. Before taking off his shirt and slipping in on the other side. Annella moved to wrap her arms around his waist.

" Annella you'll get a chill if you..." Jasper began trying to stop her from the cuddle.

"I know you're unnaturally cold. But I don't care." She whispered as she closed her eyes and settled her head onto his chest as he wrapped his arm around her, bringing her close to him. He kissed the top of her head as watched as she slowly started to drift off into a gentle sleep in his arms.
