The Killers

[Chapter 16]

I was laying in flames. I watched as Jeff began punching my mother. He suddenly came out the flames, with that awful, horrifying grin. "Jane, are you ready to die!?" He yelled to me as i burned alive. He began walking towards me, and i was un able to get away. I woke up. It was a dream. All a fucking dream. I was drenched in sweat. I wiped my forhead, and i looked to my side. Liu was asleep. I looked to the other side of me, but i relized there wasn't an alarm clock in this room. I forgot that i'm in a totally different house. My phone was sitting on the table beside the bed instead, and i flipped it on. It was 5:11 AM. I wonder if Andy could drive me to school. I havent been there for weeks. All the teachers must of thought i dropped out. I quitely got out of the bed, trying not to wake Liu, and i went down stairs. What do they even have to eat? I thought as i tip toed into the kitchen. I quitely looked through the cabnits. I found captain crunch, and i found a bowl in a another cabnit. Their was milk in the fridge. I sat down at the kitchen table, and made cereal. I quickly scarfed it up, and i looked around for a bathroom. I needed a shower. The last time i took one was when i got to the police station. I discovered a small bathroom in one of the halls leading to the living room. I flicked the light switch, and luckily there was a shower. Of course the mirror was right infront of me, so i could see my horrible, ugly, burnt face. I sighed and look away to the bathtub. I turned on the shower part, and i slid my clothes off, and i showered. A while later after i was done showering, and putting on clothes, i walked back out to the kitchen. Everyone must of still been sleeping. It was quite. The sun was shining in my eyes through the padio window. I rubbed my eyes, and i quitely went upstairs. When i got into the room Liu and I stayed in, Liu wasn't there. I panicked for a second, but that kid is always off somewhere. "Liu? Where are you?" I called out lightly doing my best not to wake Andy, his wife, and baby. Their room was directly across from Liu and I. I don't have time for this. I ran down the stairs back to the first floor. I checked all the rooms. I had a sudden feeling. Like i was being watched. I did my best to ignore the feeling, but it just wouldn't go away. "Liu?" I called out. No answer. Suddenly, i heard a crash coming from somewhere close by. I jumped at the sound. "If you're here, make the noise again." I called out. Oh god, please don't
Make that noise again. I thought. But of course, there was that same crash noise, once again. "Is it you Jeff?" I asked. No noise again. If it just happens to be him, i need to end him. I need to kill him.
