We drove for a while. Liu eventally fell asleep again, with his head tilted towards the window. It was dark. It felt like we were heading to a place that never existed. Its only because our neiborhood is about 2 miles away. I decided to put the radio on. When i turned it on, a familar voice rang through the speakers. Patsy Cline. My mother played her music loud on her old record player in her room for weeks after my father left. I knew which song it was. "Crazy." The song was called. And i couldn't get over how relatable it was. I hummed quitely to the song, as i kept driving through the never ending darkness. We eventally reached a spot where there actally was cars driving back and forth. The town we live in. It wasn't busy, but their were some cars, and the lights were still bright outside the small stores. I drove by the gas station Jeff and I went to that one day. Memories. I turned into the neiborhood next to ours, and i shook Liu awake. "What?" He asked. "What is the house number again?" I asked. "Ummmmm..." I got impatient. "Liu, honey. Don't tell me you don't remember." "I do, its on the tip of my tounge. "Oh! 32 ridgewood road." He said. I drove by tons of houses. I couldn't find house 32. I parked into someone's driveway for a second. "Are you sure it's 32?" I asked. "Um, jane. You are at house 32." I looked ahead. The car lights shined right at the sign pasted on the house saying, "#32." I laughed off my dumbness. Liu looked at me like i was an idiot. The lights up stairs went on. "Does he get mad if you wake him up?" I ask Liu. "Not usally, not that i can remember." Liu said. He better be right. I thought. Liu and I walked up to the front door. I began to panic when i heard the lock unlock on the front door, and the door slowly open. "Can i help you?" A woman with messy hair, and tired eyes asked as she peeked through a crack in the door. "Does Andy Woods live here?" I asked trying to sound as kind as possible. She yawned. "Yeah, why? What do you want kid?" She said. I hated her already. She called me a kid. I'm not a kid. "I need to see him. We need help. Liu and I, we need to stay here for a while. She squinted her eyes, and she rolled them and opened the screen door. "Come in, sit down in the kitchen. Don't get yourself too comfortable, ya hear?" She said directly. liu and I nodded at the same time. She looked away disgusted. "Andy! Get down here somebody's here for you!" She yelled. "Ahh, this early in the morning?" He sounded mad. I heard him stomp down the stairs. I wasnt in the mood for a lecture. "What do you-" Andy began to say. He had glasses, and medium length hair. He looked a little different then i imagined. He had the same facial features as Jeff and Liu though. They were definitely related. "Liu?" Andy said, looking like he was about to cry. "Hi Andy." Liu said in his sweet voice and he giggled. They both defintely remembered eachother. "You grew up so much." Andy said, still in shock. He ran up to Liu, and wrapped his arms around him. "Its okay older brother, i missed you too." Liu said hugging him back. I never saw anything so beautiful in a long time. I could feel the love between the both of them. I wish i had that.
