For the past two weeks, not only have i been waiting on a reply from Taeyong, but i've also been waiting for him to show up to the bar like he usually does. He hasn't. None of them have.

I've texted him a couple times, only for him to not answer which made me think maybe he only did want a one-night stand and nothing more, if that is the case, i need a Plan B.

Along with working at the bar, in the morning times i work at a chocolate shop next to my apartment, i usually only do this because the Owner, Chan, owns the chocolate shop and he's a friend of my fathers so he keeps an eye out for me.

I finish serving a little girl and then the stores phone starts ringing, i answer like i usually do, "Hello, thank you for contacting Chans Chocolate Confectionary, how can i help?"

"Seoyeon?" I hear my fathers voice.

"Yeah?"

"We got word from the airport that Taeyong and a couple of his men arrived a couple of hours ago. Be on the lookout for him, and make sure to turn up to the bar tonight."

"Okay. Is that all?" I put my pen and notepad away.

"Yeah. And stay safe too."

"Okay, goodbye." I hang up.

A boy that also works at the store smiles widely, he's here to pay off Chan for stealing some chocolate. Only here for a couple of weeks but he actually enjoys it here, and Chan enjoys his company too.

"Is that an order? Should i get it ready?" He asks, with a big smile on his face.

"It's all good, Chan has it sorted. Why don't you help the little girl over there." I point to a small girl struggling to reach the chocolate due to her height.

He walks away and i walk into the back where Chan and Minhee were, "That was my dad. Taeyong landed in Korea a couple of hours ago. I need off early so i can prepare the bar." I look toward Chan.

"Yeah of course." He nods his head, noting it down so he doesn't forget.

"Did Officer Choi also tell you that i'm going to be working with you now?" Minhee asks which made me shocked, i don't think that's a good idea.

"Excuse me?"

"Yeah. Not like hooking up with a gang member, but like working at the bar with you, it's to ensure your safety. You need to report everything you do back to me." She explains, honestly that is something my father would do.

I sigh, "Okay, well-"

"Taeyongs here." Chan said while looking behind me through the glass. I turn around to see a clueless looking Taeyong standing in the entrance of the shop, while a mother gripped onto her little girls shoulder, recognising the man portrayed as the devil through the media.

"Do i look tired?" I ask them.

They both nod yes and i walk out, As i do, Taeyong looks at me and then he walks forward. "Hi-"

"What do you want?" I don't make eye contact with him, i need him to actually want to get to know me, this will test his intentions.

"Seoyeon, i'm sorry i was busy with work." He rubs his lips together.

"So busy that you couldn't even send me a simple text back." I continue looking at the neutral numbers on the cash register.

"I left my phone at home-"

"For two weeks, Taeyong? Think of a better excuse at least." I shake my head. "I'm trying to work, if you're not going to buy anything, leave."

"What's your favourite chocolate?" He asks, grabbing his wallet from inside his suit. I need him to believe i'm mad at him, he needs to make the effort to progress our relationship.
