{9} [wires]

I meet up with the police department, going in through the back exit and then up to the special unit my father works for.

"Choi Seoyeon." Commander Bang smiles, his eyes wide and arms open.

"Commander Bang." I bow slightly, and to the other seven officers too. It's a special unit, only seven officers plus the commander.

"I thought we agreed for you to not come here." My dad hugs me tightly, he hasn't had the chance too in a very long time.

Well, i knew Sungchan was tailing me, so i went into the girls bathroom and left through the window, then made my way here, knowing he didn't follow me because he lost me.

"Don't worry, i know how to escape without being seen." I pull away, sitting on the chat one of the officers had provided for me.

"So... Why are you here?" Commander Bang asks, hoping for some information.

"At the moment, to catch Taeyong in the act, it's out of your jurisdiction. He's in Japan, going head to head with a Japanese gang that had kidnapped one of his members, Osaka Shotaro." I explain, Officer Min looking through some photos and then pinning up a photo of Shotaro on the board.

"From what i know, Shotaro was kidnapped in Tokyo and took to a isolated location, someone across the border. Taeyong received a video of the opposing gang beating Shotaro."

"So, he took a couple of his men. Jeong Jaehyun, Johnny Suh and Kim Doyoung being some of them. Nakamoto Yuta left before the others did."

"They're set to be returning in two weeks. Now, if you're looking to detain them at the airport for however long, they're all carrying a gun, i got information off Sungchan that they usually return with cannabis. I can very much occupy Taeil, their lawyer, while you detain them."

A mischevious smirk crept onto Commander Bangs lips, "Choi Seoyeon, i'll hire you as a detective after we have arrested Lee Taeyong." He swears, i smile. Police work isn't for me, undercover work is.

"Thank you, i'd decline though." I say truthfully, he nods his head in response, knowing i would.

"It's good information you've gathered, and a drug charge would be hard for Taeil to clear, especially if there's evidence." Officer Min smiles at me, "But really good work, i would have never been able to do that."

"Good thing it isn't you then." My dad smiles proudly.

"Have you managed to plant the cameras around?" My dad asks, and then i realise i've failed something.

Jungwoo took everything from the apartment and bought it into the new one, which means he found the cameras and wires, but i haven't found them in the apartment at all.

Which leaves two options, Jungwoo found them and gave them to Taeyong, or they're still under the floorboard in the old apartment.

"We have a problem." I sigh, "When the gang broke into the apartment, Taeyong had one of his men, Kim Jungwoo, transfer everything to the new apartment. I haven't seen the cameras or wires at all since."

My dad sighs, noticing i could have got myself in big trouble, really big trouble.

"Seoyeon i thought you knew better." He pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Someone go and check, in my bedroom under the floorboard closest to the closet, they should be there," and if not then i know Jungwoo has taken them. If that is the case, i've put myself in a sticky situation.

"Hyunchi, head around to the apartment now." My dad throws Officer Lee a pair of keys, she left and then i got a call off Taeyong.

"It's Taeyong." I put it on speaker, silencing the officers.

"Hey, are you okay?" I answer, hoping the officer don't say a word.

"I'm fine, we've got Shotaro so i'm coming home tomorrow-"

"You haven't even been there two days." I say shocked, i wonder what type of torture they did to let Shotaro free.

"Yeah they saw me in person and reconsidered. Can you pick me up? From the airport. Ten and Xiaojun will be with you, just we're going to stay in a hotel rather than the house. Want you to be with me."

I look to my dad for an answer and he nods his head, "I mean sure but as long as i'm back for work."

"Take a week off, let's go to Jeju." He says, which shocked me a little bit.

"Taeyong i've just spent nearly a whole two months with you, i would like some alone time. Remember we're still new in our relationship." I mean, i just don't want to go to Jeju without any protection, in Seoul i know i'm protected.

"Okay, that's fair enough. Still pick me up though, and Xiaojuns going to take you to a store, pick out a dress."

"For what?" I question.

"You'll see, see you soon." He hangs up. I lock my phones and slide it in my back pocket.

"Could you wear a wire?" Dad asks, he wants first hand information.

"A necklace too, i'll talk to Minhee about putting a camera in a necklace, i'll figure a place to put the wire when i find the right dress."

"Send me a picture when you do." My dad smiles. I nod my head and then stand up.

"I'll see you the next time i have some freedom, Minhee will update you if anything else." I bow as a sign of respect and then head out through the back.

I only walk about two minutes away from the station before a black car, one of Taeyongs car, rolls up beside me. "Get in." Sungchan opened the door, sighing as he looked over to me.

"I... Uh-"

"Just get in."
