Chapter 5

Khai POV

We made it to LA with my mom and we walked into my aunts house. It was different I hope Darcey is doing okay. "Oh my gosh Khai look how beautiful you are!" My aunt ran to me and pulling me into a hug.

"Great to see you too Aunt Georgia" I smile awkwardly. My mom is evil eyeing me to smile like I mean it. How can I smile? I left my best friend behind. I regret that to no end.

"So Khai how's your dad?" Aunt Georgia asked taking my bags.

"He's alright." I answer.

GracePOV

KHAI LEFT US!!!! How could she leave us? It's her fault Darcey cut herself purposely!!!

I called my dad to see what he is up to. He said he was at Nandos. Who would be at Nandos at 9:45 in the morning???? Liam came out from his den. "Hey Liam" I smiled

"Hey where's your dad?" He looks around for my dad

"At Nandos" I sigh.

"What?" He asked

"My dad Niall is at Nandos" I yelled word by word.

"He's crazy I'm sorry" he rolled his eyes.

Niall POV

I stayed at Nandos since 6:00 this morning not being able to get what Darcey did out of my mind. The waiters kept asking me if I was okay and I said yes but you could clearly see I was distracted. I had 3 batches of pancakes and I'm pretty sure they will kick me out soon. Grace has called me and so has everyone else but Darcey and Bear. Harry let them sleep together to keep her safe. I was up all night thinking. She's my niece. Almost like my daughter and she tried to kill herself. "Sir you've been here for 3 hours I'm gonna have to ask you to leave" the waiter said impatiently. I gave her a stare and stood up and left. I went to the park down town and sat on a bench thinking more. "Hi dad" I heard a voice say I look behind me and I saw Grace.

"Hey sweetie you should be at home" I smiled

"You should be too but here you are" she responded.

"Sorry I went to get some air and time alone to think" I said "is Darcey okay?"

"Dad we both know how strong Darcey is. No doubt that she won't make it through this" she promises

I get up and drive home with her and open the door to see Louis on the couch with Harry. "Hey guys" I say stepping into the house

"Hey where have you been?" Harry asks

"Nandos" I reply simply

"Is everything alright?" Liam questions

"Is Darcey okay?" I ask

"She's fine. She's upstairs sleeping with Bear if you want to check on her" Louis replied

I went upstairs and cracked her door open a notch just so I can check on her. She's sleeping right next to Bear. She's sound asleep. Bear looks at me. "Sorry is Darcey okay?" I ask

"She's great. Are you?" He raises his eyebrow

"Uh I'm alright." I lie

"Okay. I'll be down soon" he whispers

I close the door and smile. At least she's okay.

An hour later Bear and Darcey came down. "Morning" Darcey yawns

"Good morning" we all say.

"What are today's plans?" She asks grabbing milk

"Uhhhh I think we are just gonna stay home and relax" Harry responds handing her some coffee

"Okay thanks dad" she smiled and took a sip of coffee

The whole day was spent by us sitting on the couch and watching TV
