Chapter 24

Darcey POV

it's been 3 days since we have been in London and we went to my dads show. He always does such a good job with them. Freddie and I were cuddling in bed and he pulled out something from his back pocket. It was in a box. "Darcey I want to give you something" he said and I nod. I opened the box to see a beautiful handmade friendship bracelet. "This is a promise bracelet. I made this just for you and I want you to wear it" he explained

"Yes Freddie!" I shout. I pulled in to kiss him and he slid the bracelet on my wrist. "I promise I'll never take it off" the bracelet was brown blue black orange and white and beautiful. I smiled at it " I love it"

"Good" he murmured

He's the absolute best boyfriend ever. "This took me so many tries to make. I had to watch a YouTube video and I chose the colors that look best on you"

"I love it freddie. It's perfect" I look down at it and smile.

"I love you" he murmured

"I love you too" I say and peck his lips.

We cuddled in bed for a while longer before deciding to get up. We got up around noon. "What do you wanna do today?" He asked and I shrugged. "There's kareoke at the bar tonight if you want to go"

"We're underaged" I whispered

"True. That's what fake IDs are for" he smirked and pulled out two fake IDs that look like us.

"I'll go. But what do we do today?" I asked

"How bout we go to church" he smirked

He's joking right? We have been back in Miami for less than a day and he wants to go to church. I face Palmed myself in aggravation "the last day of school is tomorrow and we have to practice our songs. They want us to preform at the Senior party" I reminded

"Oh right. What songs are we gonna do?" He asked

"We are gonna do Night Changes, Midnight Memories, if I could fly, and Lights Up" I listed the songs we would be doing.

"Those are good songs. We should also do a song by my dad" he suggests

"Which song would you want to do?" I asked

"How about we made it?" He suggested

"Good" I nod

I called Bear, Ashton and Grace and told them to come over with their instruments. 20 minutes later they were all here and we were in the basement practicing "okay guys let's start Night Changes" I order. Going out tonight changes into something red.

That's like one of my fav songs. Then we went straight into Midnight Memories straight off the plane to a new hotel

Freddie always has been good on the drums. I smile and continue singing. "After this we are doing Lights up" i say while the drums are still playing we transition into Lights Up. Shine step into the light. Shine! Your bright sometimes I'm not ever going back!

After that song we did if I could fly- one of the best songs they wrote. I started playing the notes on the piano to if I could fly. My dad taught me that song when I was a kid.

I started singing and since it was mostly a piano song we went in like how the band did in the song. So I was Harry- of course, Freddie was Louis Grace was Niall and Bear was Liam. Since we still had to give Ashton a role he sang the chorus with us. That was by far the best preformance. Since we are preforming for the seniors we decided to do the song History.

An hour passed and we decided to go to the board walk and walk around. Bear and I are on good terms as of now. But our 1 year anniversary would have been in 3 weeks. Don't get me wrong I'm happy- more than happy with Freddie but I still will always have something for Bear. Not love- memories.

"You alright cupcake?" Freddie asks and I nod.

"We should get going" I say

"You can go home I wanna hang out for a while longer. I can drop you off if you want" he says

I shake my head "I'll be fine"

"You sure? It isn't safe to go out alone" he said

"I'll be fine" I reassured him and he kissed me on the cheek.

On the way home a guy comes up to me. He was wearing a black hoodie with the Vans logo and black pants. "Come on baby you look lost" he tilts his head

"I'm fine I know where I'm going" I say sketched out by his actions. He comes closer to me and soon I'm pinned against the wall in fear

"Your scared baby" he observes

"I'm not" I lie

He puts his hand on my thigh and I slap his hand away. He tries to go for more but I won't let him "HELO!" I called out and he put his hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming.

Freddie POV

I was walking by myself and I hear someone calling for help in a black small alleyway. It sounds like Darcey. I hope she's okay. I run into the alley and see a man pinned Darcey against the wall and trying to rape her. I see her trying to move away but he won't let her. I run up to him and punch his jaw. Darcey comes and hugs me. "Are you okay baby?" I asked looking into her eyes

She nods. "I'm so sorry Freddie. I should have listened to you" she cried into my chest

"It's okay Darcey" I comfort her

"It's not" she says

And we walk home together hands intertwined. "Hey guys" dad says while pouring himself some tea

"Hey dad" I say

"Is everything okay?" He asked noticing Darcey

"Yeah" Darcey lied

"Our last day is tomorrow" I remind

"That's right. Soon y'all are gonna be seniors" dad gushes

"I wish my dad was here for it" Darcey sighed

"Well I got a call from him today saying that he made it to the Canada tour" Louis smiles

It's been almost 3 weeks since he left from tour. Darcey still isn't used to it.

"Also I got a call from him about the Dunkirk movie coming out this summer and he wants me to take you and Freddie to the premier in France" he continued and darceys eyes lit up.

"We get to go to France??!!" She shrieked

"Yeah" he replied showing the tickets

"When???" She asked

"June 20" he said

That's soon.

I can't believe we are going to Paris! Haha I sound like such a girl
