Heisenberg seemed to only take out his anger on Valera. Any time something would go wrong, he'd get mad at Valera and taunt her. But of course, Valera was Valera and she never wanted give up. More specifically, she didn't know how to give up.

The metal door hissed as the hydraulic locks released and Valera waited for the door to slam open. Because of Heisenberg's outburst a week or so back, they had returned to just hating each other, not a single bit of friendship between them, no matter how small it had been.

The door was thrown open and Heisenberg looked purely pissed, stomping over to Valera. Valera looked at him with tired eyes, momentarily pausing what he was thinking of doing. She raised her eyebrows lazily and looked up at him and into the tinted glasses.

"What is it this time?" she asked. Her voice had little rebellion and she honestly just sounded flat out tired. Heisenberg lost a little of his anger at her state.

"Well?" she prompted. Heisenberg was about ready to hit her in some way, whether that be a slap, punch or kick but stopped as he noticed her already flinch. He just stared at her for a long minute before turning to leave without saying a single word. Valera just watched him leave, not quite understanding what just happened.

Days passed and Heisenberg slowly but surely became less and less hostile, though it was shown in very minimal ways. Such as maybe bringing her a little extra food, not being as rude as normal, and the biggest one, he'd stopped hitting her all together.

Valera had been stuck with Heisenberg for 3 weeks now. Another week and a half of what was basically pure torture had passed, but it was slowly getting better. Granted, she now had a bit of a fear of the man, but it wasn't the worst thing she'd experienced. One of Valera's main problems while Heisenberg wasn't there, though, was her appearance.

Valera crept over to the bathroom and looked in the dirty mirror, grimacing at her appearance. Her nose was more crooked than it previously had been and her hair was disgustingly dirty. She touched it as it was pulled back into a tight pony tail and frowned. The door swung open, startling her.

"Come here." Heisenberg snapped. Valera just looked at him.

"Why?" she finally asked. Heisenberg rolled his eyes.

"Just come here." he said, his words a little harsher. Valera flinched and averted her eyes before approaching him. He snatched her wrist and unwrapped the arm that had been hurt, observing it closely.

"Your arm's healed." he said. Valera began to take her arm from his hand and froze when his grip on her wrist tightened.

"Yeah, no shit." she muttered. Heisenberg narrowed his eyes at her and drug her over to the metal chair that hadn't moved since the day of Heisenberg and Valera's first physical fight. Heisenberg pushed Valera down to sit and glared at her momentarily before going over to the desk and rummaging in it. He pulled something out and came back over to her.

"Stay still." he ordered. Valera did as she was told and sat still. Heisenberg wet a cloth with what smelled like alcohol and got close to her. She began to back away as he got closer to her face, but stopped herself at the annoyed look beginning to cross the man's face.

He pressed the cloth against the newest addition to scars on her body, two long scars that conjoined with each other. It was accidentally Heisenberg's fault, as he'd hit her and she'd fallen and first cut open a long gash on her nose, and then he himself had caused the one that connected with it leading from the bridge of her nose to her chin. Overall, they were a bit of gruesome sight and had become slightly festered as they hadn't been cleaned.

Valera winced at the sting from the alcohol but tried to stay still. Bad memories ran through her mind and began to replay over and over, mainly of past relationships that ended in her getting hurt somehow or another, usually physically.

Valera didn't know she'd begun to cry until Heisenberg pulled back and noticed. He gently placed a hand on her knee and looked up at her with genuine worry for once. Valera quickly noticed her crying and tried to stop the tears but couldn't.

"Valera? Are you okay?" Heisenberg asked quietly. Valera breathed in deeply, beginning to wipe at the tears.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, just... peachy." she whispered. Heisenberg's thumb began to gently rub her knee, which only seemed to make the tears grow stronger. Memories of past boyfriends, abusive or not, filled her memories and fueled the flames that was her sadness.

Valera's life was really nothing short of a sob story, per Wattpad fashion, but we won't go deep into that until later :)

"Hey, talk to me..." Heisenberg murmured. Valera shook her head, tears coming more aggressively. She closed her eyes tightly and began to curl up into a ball. She was about to go full panic mode, but two warm arms wrapped around her waist. Her breath caught in her throat and Heisenberg was admittedly a little ashamed for the sudden act he'd done.

"It's okay, buttercup, it's okay." he murmured. Valera gave in and just let it out, her arms wrapping around the man and grabbing handfuls of his shirt, as his trench coat seemed to have been abandoned a while ago.

He rubbed up and down her back, just letting her cry. It was all he knew what to do in that situation. He'd just acted on instinct, despite the fact that he hated physical touch with people he didn't necessarily like.

Valera's crying lasted a good 20 minutes, and Heisenberg hugged her that whole time, just letting her go ham. He really didn't have anything better to do, and he felt like he owed it to her. After weeks of torture, he really owed her the world. Valera finally breathed in deeply and let out one last shaky breath before letting go of him.

Heisenberg sat back on his heels and looked at her. She had tear streaks down her cheeks and she looked nothing short of exhausted. Heisenberg smiled a little now.

"Wanna talk about it?" he asked quietly. Valera just shook her head. Heisenberg hummed and moved back onto his knees to reach up to her face. His hands cupped her cheeks and his thumbs wiped away her tears and gently rubbed her cheek with one of his thumbs. Another act of instinct.

Valera immediately leaned into his hands, her eyes closing for a second before she opened them again. They made direct eye contact and Valera didn't move from their position and neither did Heisenberg. And then another act of instinct occurred, in this case, for both of them.

Heisenberg leaned forwards now and Valera did a little too. Heisenberg got millimeters away, their breaths mixing and their lips just barely touching. Valera's breathing was the tiniest bit labored and Heisenberg's breath was a little more stable. He was seconds from closing the gap, so close-

Both Valera and Heisenberg quickly moved away from each other, looking in different directions and their faces purely red. Valera covered her face a little and laughed a little shyly. Heisenberg closed his eyes for a second before sighing.

"Can we agree to never talk about this? Like about anything that happened?" Valera laughed. Heisenberg began to actually laugh and shook his head.

"Yup, completely, 100%. Please." he mumbled. Valera and Heisenberg were incased in a shy silence until Heisenberg got up.

"I'm, uh, I'm gonna go." he said. Valera tried not to laugh at the straight awkwardness of the situation, which made Heisenberg also want to laugh.

"Yup, yeah, I-I'll see you around." Valera said. Heisenberg hurried to the door and started to close it, but Valera burst out laughing, which quickly caused Heisenberg to do the same. And so there they were, on opposite sides of the door after a very tense moment, laughing their asses off.

(boom, another chapter that wasn't in the original B] I am going to be changing some of the storyline in future chapters so that Heisenberg is possibly a little less of an ass B]]] )
