"So, do you think you're ready go in?" Heisenberg asked. He was lazily sprawled out on the couch across from the bed, looking at his nails. Valera frowned and thought about what her plan was exactly.

"I'm not sure. I have a few vague ideas of how I could get in, but not a sure idea on which one would be best." Valera muttered. Heisenberg's eyes trailed to Valera now and he raised an eyebrow.

"And what are those ideas?" Heisenberg asked. Valera leaned back against the headboard of the bed and sighed.

"There's really only two ways that would assure me a way in. There's the big glass dome that's beside the first right spire, but that would be loud as I'm guessing I'd have to break the glass. And I don't know how far of a fall it would be." Valera said. Heisenberg nodded.

"And then there's the trellis that's behind the left front spire. It's covered in ivy and looks like it goes all the way to the ledge at the top. Two problems with that though, the trellis isn't exactly connected to the castle wall in places, and I don't know if there's any platform over that ledge." Valera said. Heisenberg hummed and connected his hands, tapping his pointer finger against his other hand.

"I think your best bet would be to take the trellis. Just be careful with where you're climbing. That thing is wooden and older than your parents probably are. Test where you're going to move next with a tug on the wood, and you should be fine. And with the ledge, there's no way there's not a platform under it, there's an elevator that leads down somewhere close to that spire." Heisenberg said, staring off into space as he talked.

"I guess that's the plan then." Valera said, standing now.

"Oh, you want to go right now?" he asked. Valera looked over at him, a little confused.

"Yeah, why not?" she asked. Heisenberg laughed a little.

"Because it's night. If you want to go right now, I'd have to go with you." Heisenberg said. Valera's confusion grew.

"Why?" she slowly began to sit back on the bed, listening closely.

"Miranda. She walks around the village at night as a hag looking for people like you, and I just so happen to be able to sense her." Heisenberg said. Valera frowned.

"People like me?"

"Supposed tourists and adrenaline junkies." Heisenberg explained. That made Valera's mind calm a little and she hummed.

"So you want me to wait until morning?" she asked. Heisenberg hummed, smiling a little.

"I do. Partly because I'm too lazy and I don't want to leave, and also partly because you're still important to me. If you fell into Miranda's hands, Lord knows what would actually happen to you." Heisenberg said. Valera was the slightest bit touched before remembering that she was just part of Heisenberg's plan. She bit the inside of her lip and sighed before leaning back.

"I still want to go tonight. I wouldn't have to deal with all the people here staring at me. And I wouldn't have to worry about Kennedy." Valera muttered. Heisenberg raised an eyebrow.

"Kennedy?" he asked. Valera glanced up at him.

"Yeah, a girl I met in town. The only person to actually talk to me. She got all the food and junk for less than what you put on the list." Valera said. Heisenberg hummed.

"I see." he murmured. Valera's heart was set on going that night, despite Heisenberg not wanting her to.

"Can I please go tonight?" she asked. Heisenberg sighed and rolled his eyes a little.

"No, Valera. It's late enough that Miranda will already be patrolling the whole village. It's too dangerous, and I don't want to have to fight her before I'm ready." he stated. Valera continued to press despite him obviously not going to say yes.
