"DreamXD." He opened the door since Y/n was asleep. Dream was already gone.
"Oh, hi Foolish." XD greeted the other god.
"I have a question. Whatever happened to Sam? I know you can summon an Ender dragon, don't try to lie to me."
"He tried to kill Y/n." His response was immediate. His brother leaned against the doorframe.
"But you shouldn't have killed him for that since he didn't kill her. You're a God, you're not supposed to kill humans. It's forbidden. Look, I know you can reverse time, return his life." A frown ghosted over his face.
"I'm not doing that, Foolish. They decided to go against me, they should be kept under control. They can't do everything they want, do you realize that, Foolish? If you let them, they'll go to the End, get shulker boxes and elytras. I have to keep them controlled, even if it means that they should be scared of me."

"XD-"
"I'm not changing my mind, Foolish. Periodt." Foolish breathed out. His brother was always this stubborn, he couldn't talk him out of something no matter what.
"You'll get the whole server against yourself."
"I'm a God. They can't do anything to me."
"But they can take Y/n away from you. You remember that she's a mortal, right? If she gets killed two more times, then she's gone. You'll be alone." XD's lips parted a little.
"That won't happen as long as I'm with her. I'll protect her."
"You can't be around her 24/7, XD."
"I-"
"She's vulnerable, unlike you."
"...I don't care, I'll be with her. No matter what. If they hurt her, I'll kill them all."
"You talk like you're some sicko that has fallen in love." Foolish huffed.
"Love? What is that?" The God questioned.
"You gotta be kidding me." The shorter one facepalmed. "She didn't tell you anything about love?" A shake of the head. Foolish groaned. "Guess it was too awkward for her."

"What is love? Explain." He demanded.
"No, I don't know how to explain that. You should ask Y/n." The God remained silent but he nodded nevertheless.
"Foolish. Is there any way to make her immortal?" He got back to the topic.
"I don't know!"
"Wait. Dream revived Ghostbur. He probably knows something."
"XD, wait-" Too late. DreamXD already teleported to Dream who was living with George now. XD found him on the couch, napping. George wasn't home at the moment.
"Wake up." He shook Dream awake. The boy flinched upon seeing a God in the house.
"What are you doing here?" He sat up.
"Tell me everything you know about reviving people."
"No, why-"
"I'm not gonna tell that to anyone else if it's bothering you."
"Is it...about Y/n?"
"How do you know?"
"Figured. You're lovestruck." What's up with them all rambling about love? What is that?

"...just tell me."
"Fine. I'll get you the copy of the book I wrote in the prison. Only because Y/n helped me to get out of prison and gave me a shelter. But as soon as you read the book, burn it. No one should find this."
"Got it." Dream rose to his feet, quickly walking up to his Enderchest in the corner of the room and getting a book from inside and then moving to the massive bookshelf, choosing one book.
"Here you go. Oh also, take this book to learn more about love since you probably don't know what it is. This is the closest thing in your case." Dream handed XD two books.
"Thank you. Goodbye." Before Dream could do or say anything else, XD teleported back to the house. Thankfully Y/n was still asleep and Foolish was gone already. He had time to read the books.

He found out that there's only one way to make her immortal. It's actually very risky. She has to sacrifice all of her lives and the chance of her getting immortality is pretty low, but there's a chance. The chance is higher if that person is under God's protection. And if she dies this way without getting immortality, there's no way to bring her back. Not even the revival book can bring her back. She'll be gone forever. That's...too risky. DreamXD just sat there, without knowing what to do. Was it even worth it? If the ritual works, she'll be like a demi-god, but if it fails, he'll lose her. All the words of the book burned into his perfect memory and he didn't need the book anymore. He opened his palm, creating a small ball of fire and burning the book just like Dream asked. He'll wait. XD will wait, wait till she'll agree to that. Now, the second book. It's cover was red, 'A beauty and the beast'. Hm. Looks interesting. He dove into reading.

Let's just say that he was more than impressed. Love, huh? Pretty strange thing. He was also curious about the 'kiss'. What was that? How does it feel? XD waited till she woke up, watching her as she slept. Long, pretty lashes closed, plump lips slightly parted open, expression relaxed. Beautiful. Yep. He fell hard for a mere human. He caressed her cheek with his thumb, feeling her soft skin, she didn't even move. XD decided to watch over her till she wakes up. He got bored and decided to look for more books in her library, eventually finding a bunch of books. Fairy tales, like Sleeping beauty and Tangled.

"Mmmm..." She shifted slightly, getting his attention. Y/n's eyes opened, sleepiness still evident in them.
"Hi."
"Hello." She smiled, sitting up in her bed. "What are you doing in my room, XD? You don't remember the rule?"
"Oh come on, I was just watching over you. It's my duty." He shrugged.
"Well...but the privacy...What are you reading?"
"Take a look if you want." She got interested.
"Oh, what is it?" Y/n scooted closer to him. "A sleeping beauty?" He hummed in response, letting her sit next to him.
"Want to read it together?"
"Sure." She smiled up at him, gaining a chuckle from him. His gaze was focused on the book's page he was reading. It was when the prince was fighting the dragon witch. He eventually defeated her, climbing the tower and waking the princess with a kiss. "Y/n, what is the 'kiss'?" She blinked once. Oh how was she supposed to explain him this? A slight pink dusted her cheeks.

"It's- it's an action of love. You do that with the only person you love."
"What is love? Please explain." Ah right. He still doesn't know what love is. She bit her lip, chewing on it, thinking of a proper answer. XD's eyes were planted on her lips.
"Love is, uh, it's a feeling. It's when you like someone a lot."
"Details please." He wanted to make sure of something. Her brows briefly knitted together, but she knew that he was curious.
"Um, you like to spend time with that person, feel happy around them and such things."
"Hm. I see. So you kiss them if you like them, right?"
"Uh, well, kinda-" That was enough for him. He dove into his own world of thoughts, completely blocked out from outside world. Was he- was he really in love with her as Dream and Foolish said before? He felt the exact way she described love to him. What should be do? Kiss her? Why is this so confusing? He wished he had more experience in this all. He felt her hand on his shoulder, snapping him back to the reality. She had a concerned
expression on her face.

"Are you okay?" Ah, screw it. He thought to himself as he lifted his mask up, right above his lips and captured her lips in a clumsy kiss, catching her off guard. He did it.
