Eleazar's visit

I was already downstairs eating what Esme had prepared for me when Jessica showed up. She came without Edward or Bella. That surprised me a bit but was glad to see that she came anyway. I had asked where they was and she said that they wanted to stay at the cottage a little longer. Alice was with her so i didn't ask anymore questions. I'd assume Alice was the reason behind all of this, as she was the one with Jessica when she came into the kitchen.

    I didn't know exactly when Eleazar would be here but was hoping it wasn't long. I had wanted everyone to be there when he did. I knew they would all trust his opinion of Jessica. That is if my opinion was right about her. My only worry was she would influence his thoughts like she had my family. Somehow i knew it wouldn't. I couldn't explain it but i knew. After all she hadn't fooled me. Maybe it had something to do with me not being exposed to her for long periods of times like the rest. Ultimately that was what i was betting on.

   As i was finishing my breakfast, i asked her if we could go into the living room. She assured me she would wait for me there and walked away. After she was gone, i looked at Esme and Emmett and whispered "i want everyone in the living room with us."

Emmett replied " What do you have up your sleeve, Rose?"

To which I replied "Just a hunch."

They didn't question me any further but told me they would gather who they can.

   When i entered the living room, everyone was there, even Edward, Bella and Renesmee. I had not expected Silviana to be there, but she was. It gave me hope and encouragement, That what i had done was for the best for all of us. My mission was to expose Jessica for what she really was, a spy. I sat down at the opposite end of the couch from Jessica, just like before. At that exact moment came a knock at the door.

    Carlisle was the one to allow Eleazar in. He'd escorted him to the living room just as I'd hoped.

"We have a surprise guest." Carlisle informed us. As Eleazar stood beside him. Relief filled me as i set eyes on him. At that moment i was thankful Alice hadn't begone to get her power back just yet. I was scared that her gift would come back slowly as Edward's was. That it would cause confusion for her more then clarity. Unfortunately Edward had and was able to pick up that he was here for a reason. To which he said " Eleazar i know you came for a reason. Please explain to my family why."

    Relief once again came over me and i knew Edward didn't know anything. I'd  hoped Eleazar new he was bluffing. Eleazar was fast to reply with. " Rose called me. She told me Renesmee's gift is growing. i wanted to help. I know i didn't give an explanation to what she could be capable of when the Voltori came. I apologize for that. At the time it didn't matter. Our future was unsure. Along with her being half human, i wasn't sure i could read hybrids. I questioned my own gift at the time and didn't want to be the one to give you more reasons to worry. I thought it was best to keep it to myself."

   Surprised by what Eleazar had said i looked over at Bella. I could see in her eyes that nothing mattered more then her daughter. To me that meant Jessica's influence had no control over family bonds, Just that she could convince the entire family of the same beliefs. I knew then that there was a way to break the spell Jessica had over my family. All it took was doubt.

   One bit of doubt would unravel everything she had put in place. I looked over at Jessica and seen a look of worry come across her face. Upon her notice of my looking at her she flickered away the look i seen before. It turned into more of a questioning look then anything else. i just let things play out.

    I knew Eleazar was picking up on Jessica's gift the longer he was around her, but he focused more on Renesmee as he began to explain himself.

" it's hard to explain her gift more then most others. She is a hybrid after all. Her gift comes from those of her parents. No one can read her mind unless she allows them to. She can also show her thoughts to others through touch but at the same time can read their minds. Thats just at the beginning of her development. Every second i spent with her i began to notice her potential. That she was able to read every thought that each vampire she met had. Much like Aro's gift.

   As I'm standing here now, i can tell it has grown. She is powerful and potentially dangerous. She can trap those she touches in there own mind at any point of their memories she pleases. Rendering them in a coma-like state. I've never met anyone with a gift like hers and therefore have no name for it."

   That was not what i had expected. Why on earth would he tell us that in front of Jessica. If she was a spy, Aro would love to her this. He would want her as well. I wanted to scream at him for the huge mistake he had made. That should have been told to the family only. Now I'm afraid Jessica knows way more then she needs to. Enough to make her escape and return to the Voltori. Who knows what she'll get for such information. Aro will surely reward her for it.

"I'm not dangerous Eleazar." Renesmee was the first to speak. " i haven't hurt anyone."

"Of course your not sweetie. That's not what he meant by saying your dangerous. He means only to those who would want to hurt you." Bella assured her.

"I don't want to hurt anyone mommy." She replied.

" i think we should go outside and let the others finish talking. We could play hide and seek, what do you say? Would that make you feel better?" Bella asked

"Yes."

"I think I'll come with you. This sounds like it's a family matter plus hide and seek ain't that fun with only two people playing." Jessica said. Bella looked up at her and gave her a thankful smile.

    I had a bad feeling and didn't want Jessica to leave. As they got up to walk out i grab her hand. " You can't leave just yet Jessica." I said everyone turned and looked at us.

"Why not?" She asked with anger in her voice.

"Eleazar isn't just here about Renesmee. He's here about you to." I said as i got up and faced her. " i believe Jessica has a gift of her very own. One that she has been using on all of you."

As she laughed nervously, she replied " "You've got to be kidding. So you think I'm some kind of spy?"

"Funny you would say that as that isn't what i had said. At least not yet."

"Is this true Eleazar? Does she have a gift?" Carlisle asked.

  We all looked at him as he shook his head yes. Before anyone had a chance to look back, Jessica picked me up and throw me out the window. It all happened so fast and before i knew it i had landed on the ground. Emmett was by my side along with Carlisle. Every part of my body hurt as i turned to look at Emmett. I tried to speak but only blood came out.

"Don't try to speak! Esme get my bag and hurry!" Carlisle shouted.

I lifted my hand to Emmett's check desperately trying to show him what i could not say.

"Your gonna be ok Rose. Just stay with me please." I could hear the pain in his voice. At the same time a heavy since of sleep began to creep up on me. I couldn't resist it. The pull was so strong that i couldn't do anything but give in to it's call. As i closed my eyes i fell into a dark void of nothingness.
