Emotionless Confessions (Todobaku)

15. Summer mall

I am SO sorry for this late update! My mental health hasn't been good the last few weeks and I couldn't get myself to write anything. I will write a bunch of chapters now and try to update regularly again. I'm so sorry for the wait

Shoto's pov

"Deku-kun! Todoroki-kun! Over here!!" Midoriya and I walk over to Uraraka and Tsu who are standing at a noodle stand, Uraraka jumping up and down while waving at us.

"Uraraka-san! Tsuyu!" Midoriya waves back at them and pulls me towards them.

Tsu steps next to Uraraka and looks at Midoriya with her big eyes "Call me Tsu."

"Right! Tsu! Sorry my bad!!" he nervously scratches his head. Midoriya is too polite sometimes in my opinion. Tsu has asked the whole class to call her Tsu since the first day of our first year. But Midoriya stays polite and keeps calling her Tsuyu.

"It's fine, Midoriya. I'm just surprised you still don't just call me Tsu after 2 years of being in the same class."

I take a step forward, now standing next to Midoriya. I don't want to stay at this mall too long, too many people around. If we get this over with as soon as possible we can be at the lake earlier and meet up with Bakugou and the others "Where are Momo and Jirou? Are they running late?"

"They're in that store." Uraraka points to a swimwear store "Jirou doesn't have anything to wear when we go swimming so they went in while we're waiting for you guys."

I nod at her and Midoriya speaks up "We can grab some noodles while we wait! Did you eat before my mom picked you up, Todoroki?"

"I haven't had lunch yet, no. But I'm not hungry so I'll get some soba before we leave."

"I haven't had lunch either and I'm hungry so I'm getting some Katsudon."

Midoriya finished his Katsudon right as Momo and Jirou came out of the swimwear store. "Midoriya, Todoroki! You're finally here! Sorry for making you all wait but Jirou didn't have any swimwear."

I give her a small smile "No apology needed, Momo. I do have a question though, why are we at the mall if we're supposed to meet the others at the lake?"

Uraraka answers my question "We wanted to hang before the devil himself joins us. We thought the mall would be a good place y'know, spend some money and have fun." She nervously nudges my arm and I sigh, taking my wallet out and handing her Endeavour's credit card. "Don't nudge me like that, just ask."

"Cool! Thanks Todo! Let's go shopping guys!!" The other girls follow her as she runs off and Midoriya and me are left behind.

He looks at me and gives me a bright smile. He's almost as bright as the sun. "D-Do you want to look for All Might merch with me?"

I guess we might as well just look at some stuff to pass the time. "Sure, lead the way."

Next chapter will be a bit longer, promise! I've also changed all the earlier chapters with trigger warnings. I put a trigger warning before anything happens so those who can't read it don't have to skip the whole chapter :)
