An entire week passed quietly but not for Jungkook, lately he was thinking about what his father told him. 'Marriage......... I can't marry anybody right now. I am not ready yet,' said Jungkook in his mind, sighing as he sat on his bed. Hands holding his hair in frustration.
Thinking about Taehyung, a little smile immediately made its way onto his lips. He got up from his bed, brushed his hair, and fixed his hanbok. Once he looked at himself in the mirror, he thought, "Perfect." Then, he closed the door behind him and made his way to Taehyung's room, hoping Jimin wouldn't be there to spoil his mood.
As Jungkook walked through the corridors, he felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. When he finally reached Taehyung's room, he paused for a moment to gather his thoughts. Then, he knocked softly on the door.
"Taehyung, it's me, Jungkook," he called out, hoping Taehyung would be alone.
But when he opened the door to Taehyung's room, he found it empty. He looked in the bathroom to make sure Taehyung wasn't there. With a frown on his face, he made his way to the garden, thinking Taehyung might be there since he often spent his afternoons among the flowers.
"He is not here either!" Jungkook muttered to himself. "Maybe he's in the kitchen."
Jungkook started making his way to the kitchen, hoping to see Taehyung there. As he opened the kitchen door, he saw the servants and chefs busy cooking and washing dishes. Seokjin had taken a week off, leaving the kitchen slightly more chaotic than usual.
Jungkook scanned the room, hoping to catch a glimpse of Taehyung. One of the maids noticed him and bowed, "Your Highness, can I help you with something?"
"Have you seen Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, trying to hide his impatience.
The maid shook her head. "No, Your Highness. He was here earlier, but I haven't seen him for a while."
Jungkook sighed, feeling a mix of worry and disappointment. "Alright," he said, turning to leave the kitchen.
To say Jungkook panicked seeing Taehyung nowhere would be an understatement. His heart raced, and he couldn't shake the worry that something might have happened. He knew he couldn't ask any maid about Taehyung's whereabouts without raising suspicion.
'Did Mother have done something to him?"
Taking a deep breath, Jungkook patted his chest, trying to calm himself. "It's okay. He has to be somewhere around here," he whispered to himself. With that thought, he decided to make his way to Jimin's room, hoping Taehyung might be there.
As he approached Jimin's room, he hesitated for a moment before knocking softly on the door. Jimin opened it, looking surprised to see Jungkook standing there.
"Jungkook, what brings you here?" Jimin asked, curiosity evident in his voice.
Jungkook glanced around to make sure no one was listening before speaking. "I'm looking for Taehyung. Have you seen him?"
Jimin raised an eyebrow. "Taehyung? He was in the garden earlier, but I'm not sure where he is now. Is everything okay?"
Jungkook nodded, trying to mask his anxiety. "Yes, everything's fine. I just needed to speak with him."
