•Carls POV•
God she is so beautiful. I don't stop thinking about her. But she is just going to leave. Like Dale, Sophia,
Like mom.
But it's all my selfish dads fault. This is not for him to decide. She is a poor, defenseless girl. She needed us to fend for her.
She can't do it alone.
I have to ask her. I have to ask how she did it all these years.
I knocked softly on her door. Aw opened it, wearing an oversized tee shirts and a black sports bra with black booty shorts. He hair was in a messy bun, perfectly framing her face.
"Yes?" She whispered hoarsely.
"How?" I asked.
"How what?"
"How did you survive for so long alone? Alone fragile and afraid? Were you always in your own?" I questioned. She frowned and simply said;
"No."
I sighed and closed the door.
"Who were you with?" I asked, putting my hand on her shoulder.
"M-my family...." she choked out.
"And, where are they now baby?" I cooed.
"D-dead." she said, letting tears drop out of her eyes. I pulled her in close, not daring to let her go.
"Carl... don't leave me please." she sobbed into my shoulder.
"Shh... I promise. I promise I won't leave, darling." I coddled.
"Are you sure?" She whispered.
"I'm sure."
