Dallon
Today I'm proposing to Phoenix.
We're back home, and she thinks that we're just throwing a little end of the SRAR era party, but little does she know, she'll have a ring on her finger.
This is her ring.
Yeah, it cost a lot of money, but money has no limit when it comes to your love.
We went shopping at Walmart for things to buy for the cookout.
"We gotta get some vegan things for Mr. CrossFit.", Phoenix joked, passing the meat isle.
She picked up some burger patties and some hot dogs.
She also got some salad mix, some vegan burger patties, some soda, some fruit, and a few cases of beer.
"That should be enough for everyone, yeah?", I asked, as I scanned everything at self- checkout.
"Yeah. We don't want too much left over, 'cause next thing you know, it just ends up in the trash.", she replied.
Phoenix has a habit of getting rid of leftovers.
Every time we throw a party, she is very keen on having everyone either eat everything or bring some food home.
She hates making food go to waste.
We got home, where we cooked everything we needed to, and got dressed.
It was summer, so I wore a loose shirt with some jeans, while Phoenix wore a sundress.
She had gained a little bit of weight, and been quite moody, but I didn't say anything.
She's my girlfriend- or should I say, fiancé.
Everybody showed up, and everything was going well.
Pete had come to check up on me a couple times, as he knew about the engagement.
Joe offered Phee a beer, to which she declined, saying she's 'taking a break from alcohol.'
Huh, that's weird.
Usually she'd be so excited to have a beer, but I guess she really is taking a break.
Night was beginning to fall, and I decided that now was the perfect time to pop the question.
"Uh, hi everyone. Can I please have my amazing girlfriend, Phoenix over here?", I asked, changing the music.
I changed it to a piano version of The Phoenix, with Patrick singing.
She walked over to me, looking confused.
"Phoenix, I have never met a girl as caring and beautiful as you. You are my rock, my pride, and my very best friend. I want to be able to calm you down when you're sad, love you through thick and thin, and be your shoulder to cry on.", I said.
She had tears welling up in her eyes, as I said that.
I got down on my knee, and that's when she lost it.
"Phoenix Anne Wentz, will you marry me?", I asked.
"Yes, yes!", she yelled, sniffing.
Everyone cheered as I slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her.
"I actually have something to tell you myself.", she smiled.
I raised my eyebrow as I looked her in the eyes.
"I'm pregnant.", she added.
Confetti went into the air as everyone yelled and screamed.
I hugged her, and kissed her lips once again.
"We're having a baby, lovebug.", I smiled, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Yeah, we are.", she replied, leaning into my embrace.
Once everyone left, we got all dressed for bed.
Phoenix was wearing some tighter pajamas, which made it easier to spot her bump.
"Hey, little one. I'm your dad, and I promise to give you the world.", I told the baby inside, Phoenix smiling down at me.
Oh my god, I'm going to be a dad.
