Chapter 2

Naruto's POV

After breakfast, me and dad made our way to Hokage tower. Dad knocked on the door and we heard a muffled "come in", we entered and saw the Nara family, Shikaku, Yoshino, and Shikamaru. "Naruto, I'm sure you're acquainted with Shikamaru Nara?" gramps said, I nodded in response and glanced at Shikamaru before looking at dad then gramps. "So why did you call us here gramps?" I asked, "Well you and Shikamaru are to marry" he replied. I looked at gramps trying to find some hint of a joke but found nothing, now don't get me wrong I like Shikamaru you might even say I have a crush but 1. Were SEVEN and 2. We're BOTH BOYS!! "Let me explain since I can tell your both wondering why I would decide this." he said "The Uzumaki clan was blessed by Kami with fertility, the clan was originally a clan of men and no women, so kami gave them the ability to bear children regardless of gender." I was stunned, I could have children!! "But why have us marry?" Shikamaru asked "for Naruto's protection, the Nara clan have never held a grudge against Naruto for being the jinchuriki of the Nine tails Kyuubi" gramps replied. I looked at the Nara's and saw the wheels turning in their heads. "So when is the wedding?" dad asked "today" gramps said. I paled when gramps said that, "WHAT!!" Shikamaru and I said in unison "well you already know and like each other so why postpone?" gramps said calmly.

Shikamaru's POV

The Hokage wants me to marry Naruto?! I'm happy and scared at the same time, what if he doesn't want to marry me? What if he isn't gay? What if- "lets begin the ceremony" the Hokage said.

Time skip at the end of the ceremony

"I now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride" said the Hokage. I nervously looked at Naruto, who seemed calm, and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. I felt him kiss back before we pulled away, I felt all my doubts about his feelings towards me fall away. "So now what" Naruto asked me "well we try and make this work" I replied "do we have to live together, and whose house do we live at?" he asked. "Whose house is bigger?" I asked "lets see" a man I assumed was his dad said. We left and went to Naruto's house, it was nice and cozy it wasn't to big and not too small. "I wanna live here" I said, it looked as though a weight was lifted from Naruto. "Very well but you have to visit on the weekends, that goes for both of you" my mom said. Troublesome.  "Ok" Naruto said "well then we'll be back with you stuff" my dad said, and with that my parents left.

Naruto's POV

Shikamaru's parents went to go get his stuff and I went to got relax on the couch. Shikamaru came up to me and I sat up so he could sit and I could lay my head in his lap. "We're married" I thought aloud "yeah" he replied, "It happened so fast ya know" I said "yeah" he said. We looked at each other and laughed. "Hey Naruto?" Shikamaru started, "yeah?" I replied "Is it weird that I'm happy about this?" he asked "No" I replied "Because I'm happy too" I said. "Hey I'm gonna go make dinner" dad said "ok" we replied "Hey is that your dad?" Shikamaru asked "yeah" I replied. I felt my self begin to fall asleep, as sleep took me I heard Shikamaru say "I'm here for always Naruto" I smiled and fell into a peaceful sleep.
