Are we superheroes?! - chapter 7.

9 months later.

Ava's P.O.V

I was looking after barry. Checking his vitals etc. I'm so scared he's not gonna wake up. But I've learned a lot here at star labs from Caitlin, Cisco, and even Dr. Wells he was a jerk and quite distant. But he'll always help me with my powers.

I have the power to control, absorb and generate energy or light. Cisco even gave me the name "light." The crime in central city has increased since the particle accelerator exploded. People using their powers to do the wrong thing didn't seem right to me. So I've been going out during the night 'fighting crime' cisco would say. "I'm a superhero?" I whispered to myself.
"Is it me or did he just move." I quickly snapped out of my thoughts. "What?!" I ran over to the infirmary. "It's probably just nothing cisco's always saying that," Caitlin said trying to calm me down. "Cisco if your playing with me I will blind you." I threatened him shining my light in his face. "Stop it I'm not joking." He said pushing my hand away. "What happened." We all froze hearing Barry speak. "And why is this song playing?"
Cisco had this 'brilliant idea ' to play lady gaga so barry could wake up. Apparently, he likes her songs.

At first, he was scared I knew how he felt, and Cisco and Caitlin weren't helping. Caitlin was asking him a million questions and cisco was trying to find out his superpower. "Guys stop!" I yelled."I need you to urinate in this," Caitlin said holding a cup.
"Not this second," Cisco said snatching the cup away from Caitlin.

Over time I spent at star labs Caitlin and I become good friends.

"Barry it's ava you're at star labs."

•Time skip•

We explained that he was struck by lightning and that he was out for 9 months. He stood up by the mirror and said, "lightning gave me abs?" I looked away flustered. "Abs? What abs I didn't even notice." I said walking out of the infirmary. He followed behind me. "You got struck by the lightning too what happened. Are you okay?" He asked genuinely concerned. Before I could answer Dr.wells came in to talk to barry but he left. Once he mentioned Iris. "Iris was here quite often."
"She talks a lot. " Caitlin commented.
"I have to go," Barry said walking away.

"You can't go we still have to run some test. There's still so much we don't know."

A few hours later barry came in claiming he had super speed.
Wells, Caitlin, Cisco, Barry, and I went out to an open space which was basically in the middle of nowhere.
"Go put this on and come out when you're ready," Cisco said handing Barry a red suit. "This is going to be fun," I said sarcastically. Minutes later barry came out wearing the suit. I tried not to laugh but I couldn't help it. "At least you'll be moving fast no one will see you," Cisco said.
Barry glanced at me and smiled my heart fluttered and my face began to turn pink so I quickly look away. Barry got into position and then ran as fast as he could. The wind started to pick up pushing us back. He was going over 200 mph. "How is that even possible?"
Barry fell fracturing his hand we drought, him back to star labs and it healed in three hours. 'Amazing.' I did think that barry would have this kind of power he was Amazing.
"What happened out there. Did something cause you to lose focus?" Wells asked barry.
"I started to remembering something. When I was eleven, my mom was not murdered. It was night. I saw a ball of lightning. Inside there was a man. He killed my mom. Nobody believed me. My dad was arrested and is still sitting in iron heights for her murder. What if the man that killed my mom was like me?" Barry confessed.

"You're one of a kind barry,"

•Prestent time•

Barry came into star labs claiming Cylde Mardon can control the weather everyone thought she was dead. I guess no one just 'dies' in Central City.
