MICHELLE'S POV:
I was terrified of how Luke was going to react. Even my knock was pathetic. He opened the door and stared at me as if he'd just seen a ghost.
"Um, Michelle! What... are you doing here?"
"Can I talk to you? It's important?"
"Can't it wait? I... Uhh."
That's when Maria stuck her head around the door. Flammin' perfect.
"Who is it babe?" She stared at me. "Oh hi Chelle, you alright?"
I honestly did not know what to say. I was stood frozen on the doorstep with my 'piece on the side' and his girlfriend gazing at me as if they had never met me before.
"Uh... Yeah I just came to ask if I could borrow a... whisk."
A whisk? That's the best I could come up with. A flammin' whisk. Flammin' hell.
"Uh yeah... sure." Maria said as she invited me in.
As she went into the kitchen, I knew that was my chance to say something.
"I need, need, need to talk to you. It's dead important. Come round Carla's flat say in about an hour?"
"Um yeah alright, I'll think of an excuse. Oh and a whisk really?"
"Honestly, it was all I could think of." I said as we both had a little giggle.
"Oh, what about Carla?" He asked.
"It's alright. She will make her self scarce. Trust me."
"Okay, is it going to be a fun night-"
He asked as Maria came around the corner.
"Here you are. You baking or?"
"No just borrowing it for Carla."
"Ah, okay well enjoy. Um anything else you need?"
"Uh no, that's fine. Thank you. See you." I walked myself out and shut the door behind me. I still can't believe a whisk was the best thing I came up with. Seriously.
