It felt so wrong, yet so right.

CARLA'S POV:
I remember working at my desk when Sally entered the office.
"Um Mrs Connor, you have a visitor."
She said as I carried on working, I wasn't really curious to who was at the door until Sally mentioned it was flipping Peter Barlow.
I saw him outside the office, he wasn't drunk, or didn't look it anyway. He was dressed in a smart-casual suit, which is different to Peter Barlow's style, although he did look nice in it. He was staring at me with that smile he used to have when he'd look me straight in the eyes before he'd kiss me.
"Ok let him in." I didn't even think before letting him in, the words just came pouring out of my mouth.
"Hello Carla."
"What do you want Peter?"
"I just came to tell you that I've just come from rehab. I'm completely sober and I'm planning to stay this way."
"I've heard those words before." I stated.
"No I mean it this time. I'm staying sober."
"Why have you come to tell me this. I don't really give a damn if I'm honest. Because I know by tomorrow you'll be back in the gutter stinking of booze."
I stood up and walked over towards him, I said right to his face "And that's where you belong."
Before I knew it he grabbed my face and pressed his lips against mine. I couldn't resist the temptation anymore and I kissed him back. It felt like it used to feel. Just right. However I knew it was wrong, but I still loved him. Thank god the blinds were closed, none of those nosy buggers out there knew what we were up to. We kissed for a while and it felt so right. He pushed me up against the wall and
he went to take off my jacket as I laughed. "Peter not in here." I said with a massive smile on my face and as he kissed my neck.
"Why not?" He said laughing, and I looked at him smiling.
"Ok right I'll leave, trying not to look as happy as I feel and I'll go to your flat. Yeah? Meet me there in about 10 minutes?" It was a massive surprise, I didn't expect this to happen.
But I said yes.
He walked out and I was really happy, but I had to put on a show. Because of course, in came Nosey Sally.
"Everything alright, Mrs Connor?"
"You know Sal, just the usual." I said just as I went to sit down.
"Well Peter left with a right look on his face and I was just wondering-"
"Bye Sal."
She left my office and as soon as the door closed I grabbed my coat and my bag and walked out and told Sal that I had a meeting and I'll be back later. But of course my meeting was with Peter Barlow, and I couldn't have been any happier.
