The love between the two

A week... Alone.

A month went by and Carla and Peter were still secretly at it while Michelle and Luke were waiting for their arrival in 2 months.

MICHELLE'S POV:
As I was making the bed, Luke came in and he'd just had a shower.
"I was just wondering babe, if you wanted to go to Cheshire for a week before the baby's born? Have some alone time? I'll pay for us both, it's not expensive, I went to a hotel there before and the service there was brilliant. So what d'you think?"
"That sounds wonderful!"
"Well that's good because I've already booked it. We're leaving in 3 hours."
"Three hours? Wow you know how to keep a surprise secret!"
"That's how I roll."
He got dressed and started packing our things as I went into Carla's room to tell her the news.

CARLA'S POV:
"That's great darling! You need a week away." I said.
"I do, we're going in three hours."
"Wow, well Luke knows how to keep a surprise secret."
"That's exactly what I said. Will you be alright on your own?"
"Me? Don't be daft of course! I'll find a way to keep myself occupied." I said, trying not to sound to obvious. "Enjoy darling." I said as she closed the door and went to pack.

As Luke and Michelle were loading the taxi, Carla rang Peter and told him to come down.

CARLA'S POV:
"Michelle and Luke are going away for a week, come over and you can stay here while they're away?"
"Ok babe, I'll ask my dad if he can look after Si. But I'll have to say I'm away at a meeting or something. Can Sal look after the factory for a week? I want you all to myself."
"Uh I'll see what I can do."
Michelle came in quietly as I was on the phone, although she didn't say anything about it. "Right love we're all packed and ready to go."
"Aw I'll miss you love." I gave her a big hug.
"Bye Carla." Luke said as he gave me a hug. "Thank you for looking after Chelle."
"My pleasure." I said smiling.
"Right then we're off! Stay out of trouble yeah?" Chelle said and they both walked out and closed the door, and then I ran straight towards the phone and rang Sally. I wouldn't have been surprised if she'd said yes. She'd say anything to impress me at work. And surprise surprise she said she'd be delighted to. Thank God. As I put the phone down, someone was at the door. I opened it and there was the love of my life with his bags. He dropped them on the floor and kissed me. He then closed the door and we made our way to the bedroom.
