After reading the whole series , I felt like I wanted to make my own character in it (as I often do hehe). Freya came very recently to my thoughts as a Selection character, but her backstory was pretty clear pretty fast for me to make.
I wanted someone to be like the Megara of the series, from Hercules, but she won't be as confident or as sassy as her. She will though be the one that has to get close to Maxon so she could give information to the rebels, including on how to get inside the castle without the guards knowing. They want to destroy the royals, the Selected ones and everyone else in order to get their ultimate revenge.
Freya didn't want this, she didn't have any hateful feelings towards the royals, but she didn't really have much of a choice. She were born into the rebel life, but wanted to be something else. Entering the selection was going to be her biggest regret, but also her biggest experience.
