Zane

Its a warm damp morning in Ninjago and you and Zane are walking through the park, hand in hand. The park was quiet and hardly anyone was there so it made it perfect for the both of you.

"The park is beautiful when it's quiet." you say smiling, gazing up at the autumn trees draping over the path.

"It's even more beautiful with you by my side."

You look to Zane, a smile spread on your face. You lean over, kissing his cheek making him blush lightly. Zane was perfect to you; he treated you with love and respect and let you have your alone times when you needed them. He was amazing.

"Wow is that guy metal?" You hear voices snickering behind you. You turn your head to see three guys leaning on an old broken piece of playground equipment; laughing at you and Zane. If Zane wasn't with you, you would have beaten them down in seconds.

"Y/N, are you okay?" Zane asks, noticing you staring. You quickly turn back to him, nodding.

"Let's just carry on walking, okay?"

Zane stares at you for a moment before carrying on walking down the path; but this didn't stop the idiots behind you.

"OI!" they shout at you, "Get away from that robot! He might kill you!"

You feel the anger bubbling up inside of you. You might burst any second now. "Ignore them" you quickly whisper to Zane; but his light blue eyes are focused on the ground. Your pretty sure he heard them.

"Did you hear me?" they shout over again. You could then hear laughter. That tears it.

You whip around to face them. "Stop being assholes and find someone else to pick on." you say defensively, now squeezing Zane's hand. They burst into pits of laughter.

"I like a defensive woman!" one of them says, looking you up and down. You give him a disgusted look. That's when you see Zane's expression had hardened.

"What - did you say?" Zane asks, looking directly at the group in a calm tone. The group look from one another before going back to Zane.

"Your lady friend is sexy when she's defensive!" another calls out. You feel yourself turning red with embarassment.

"I might take her if you don't mind!" another shouts along with the group.

You look to Zane pulling at his arm. "We need to leave before this get's rough" you say, eyes still on the group. Zane shakes his head, tearing his arm free of yours. "Zane?"

Zane ignores you, walking towards the group. "Take that all back..." he says sternly, "Take it all back and leave me and her be."

The group look from you to Zane, laughing to themselves. "And why should we do that?" one of them asks, standing up. Another stands up with him, rolling up his sleeves to act tough.

"I'll make you take it back."

"I'd like to see you try."

Zane laughs sarcastically. "You asked for it."

You then watch as Zane runs up to one of the gang members, knocking them hard in the jaw; making him fall to the ground. He hits another in the stomach with only his foot and another square in the face. This surprises you; Zane is such a calm person! You didn't really think he had it in him!

Zane wipes his knuckles on his jeans before turning round to three more faces from the gang. They didn't look as happy as they once were. Zane begins to take a few steps back, wanting to gain his distance. You knew what Zane was going to do.
