Morro's beginnings...

Zane

You hear a loud slam as a body frails against your bedroom window. You push up from your desk to see Zane's crippled body lay on the floor below your window making you take in a sharp gasp. What the heck had just happened?

"Y/N!" Zane calls up from the floor below, "YOU NEED TO LEAVE!"

You feel a punch of pain when you watch as Zane's body starts to quiver, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" you shout back with a crack in your voice, "NO WAY AM I LEAVING YOU! I'M COMING DOWN NOW!"

"NO!"

You ignore Zane's words and grab your favorite jacket from your bed before quickly rushing down to the front door and outside. Zane's body now remained still, a strange green figure flaring in front of him.

"Another I see..." the figure begins. The voice was low- most likely a man. "I'd like to see you try."

"I'm not here to fight you" you tell him straight, "Why would you even think that?" Bending down to Zane's body, you lay a hand on his metallic skin sending chills down your spine. You look back up and meet with the stranger's eyes. "WHAT HAS ZANE DONE TO YOU?"

"HE'S TAKEN EVERYTHING I HAD!" he yells angrily in reply, "YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!"

Before you know it, the strange figure had raised a curdling wind in his hands- gradually making it more strong and vicious. With his free hand he pulls down the black cloth that hung loosely around his mouth to reveal the face of Lloyd. A very sickly Lloyd. But how was that possible? He doesn't have the strength let alone the power of wind! And...how has his voice turned deeper so quickly?

Tears fill your E/C eyes as they meet with the unconscious Zane at your knees. "PLEASE!" you shout over the whipping winds, hoping to break something within him.

"IT'S TOO LATE TO STOP NOW!"

And that's when you were knocked into a whirlpool of darkness.

Cole

It was pretty quiet at first. You were at the bounty after school as Cole had promised to do training with you- he also mentioned showing you his new Ninja costume. It was when you were in the training room when you heard yells of terror from outside.

Cole had his arms placed firmly on your waist when he heard the cries; he immediately parted at the sound of danger.

"What...was that?" he asks quietly, turning his head to you. You reply giving a small shake of your head.

"I don't wanna particularly know" you whisper back.

Cole makes a small noise of worry before darting across the room and pulling up his newly designed Ninja mask, it's silver detailed patterns shining in the hint of sunlight as he reaches the door.

"Wait for me!" you tell him in a hushed tone, "I'm not staying here alone!"

Taking quick steps, you follow Cole quietly outside to find Nya and Jay gathered at the balcony overlooking the outside training course. You tilt your head in confusion- what could have possibly happened? Yet another Serpentine attack?

Nya turns her head at the sound of footsteps, her face full of panic. "Kai's fighting Lloyd!" she tells you, "We can't stop them!"

You whip your head around to look at Cole's reaction. His dark toned face is soon lit with fear. "Show me." Nya then leads you both to where the fight commences. You could just about make out the two figures below: Kai's muscular body fighting against Lloyd's smaller one. However something about Lloyd was different. Was it his ripped clothing? Or maybe the dark circles under both eyes?
