Chapter 20

- Christmas Eve -

Violet's POV

Mikey, Gee, Frank, M and I are sitting in Gee and M's living room playing monopoly.

It's about 8:30pm and we're all kinda bored.

Luckily, nothing bad had happened since I had that awful dream.

"This is booooorrrrrring" Mikey complains as he picks up his phone.

"It is" I mumble before leaning against Frank.

"It's bonding time" Gee says, you'll never guess who suggested we play monopoly.

"Babe, it's boring" M says rubbing his back.

"I think it's alcohol time" I say standing up.

"Hells yeah it is!" Mikey exclaims happily.

"No" Gee and I say in unison

"Aww come on" he sighs sadly.

I get up and go to the kitchen and get a bottle of wine and 4 glasses.

I walk back into the living room and sit down when all of a sudden, someone's phone starts ringing.

Mikey immediately picks up his phone and talks, I don't pay much attention to his conversation.

Gerard pours some wine into the glasses and Mikey hangs up his phone.

"Um, guys, would it be bad if I went and saw my boyfriend? It'll only be for a couple hours, please" he asks unsurely, and everyone loosen shocked for a moment, making me realise that no one else knows he's gay besides me.

"Boyfriend?" Gee questions and Mikey nods.

"His name is Pete and I'd like to see him tonight. Can I go?" Mikey asks again, looking down at his phone briefly.

"No" Gee says and I frown at him.

"Yes, you can" I say and Gee pushes my shoulder.

"No, it's dark, and the roads are dangerous" Gee says crossing his arms stubbornly.

"Oh come on Gee, he's going to meet his boyfriend on Christmas Eve" I persuade Gee.

"I don't know" Gee mumbles unsurely.

"Come one, he's a responsible driver." I say looking over to Mikey who is smiling slightly at me.

"Fine, okay, be safe." Gee gives in, I can tell that he really doesn't want to let him go.

"Thank you thank you thank you" Mikey exclaims, getting up and getting his jacket and boots ready.

"Just please, please be safe when you're driving" Gee urges and I nod in agreement.

"Yes I will" Mikey says and begins to walk towards the door, getting his keys out of his pocket.

"I'll see you in a couple of hours" Mikey states and we say our goodbyes as he walks out the door.

"I have a bad feeling about letting him go" Gee says warily after we had begun playing monopoly again.

I am about to reply when the door opens, revealing Mikey.

"My car won't start" he says sadly.

"Take mine buddy" Frank says getting his keys from his pocket and chucking them to Mikey.

"Really?" Mikey asks in disbelief.

"Sure, why not" Frank says with a smile on his face.

"Thanks man" Mikey says happily.

"Bye again" Mikey says leaning down and giving me a hug before moving to Gee and giving him a hug too.

"Love you little bro" I say and he smiles.

"Love you too, shorty" Mikey says smiling "you too Gee"

"Have fun, and be safe okay" Gee says and Mikey nods before walking out the door.

"Let's have some real fun" M says holding up her glass of wine.

This is going to be a fun night.
