We slow-danced under the purple rain, our senses gave in to the song of the rustling leaves, every touch is a memory, every breath is a story.
Our eyes locked in each other’s gaze, I tried to memorize, every bit of you, every shape of you. Deep in our hearts, we knew.
Our thoughts slowly ebbed in silence, I felt the world around us disappear, I saw the sadness in your eyes, our words faltered in disguise.
Maybe we’ll never forget this moment, the painful sorrow of the wind, the lonely trace of regret, the sudden urge of denial. We’ll say our sweetest goodbye, the end of you and I.
