Imagine Smokescreen is singing you I Love You Too Much from the movie The Book Of Life.
It was a normal day in the Autobot base. There was nothing much that they could do, and much to Ratchet's relief, the human children are nowhere to be seen.
Though the oldest human (not that old, Primus!) named Y/N should be in the base for other purposes, yet it seems that she is busy with something.
Ratchet may not tell the truth about the human female, but he treated her like a daughter and her as a father to him.
After a few minutes, their audio receptors had received a sob which all of them got alert mode. Soon, Smokescreen spoke to break everyone's confusion. "I'll check my mate to know if something is wrong..."
He then transformed into his alt mode and starts walking as released his human form to your room, knocking on your door to know that he was there. "Come in." A low voice replied, and he quickly opened the door to check you out.
And there he found you, facing your back at him. He was sure you were crying based on you looking at your mirror with red eyes and pink cheeks.
"My love, what is wrong?" He asked as he walked to you, laying a hand on your back. Another whimper had been released from the woman's lips, a single tear can be seen from her cheeks.
After you told him what happened throughout the day, he tried to calm you down. Once you relax, you closed your eyes and show a small smile. "Thank you, Smokey."
At that moment, the mech couldn't breathe. He knew he was already in love with you but sadly you didn't know. He wished Primus himself that you will be his.
Luckily, he asked Jack's mother named June, how to court a human female. She said a few things, but the only thing he got in mind is to sing you a song. He tries a few things, but it didn't go well.
Until Miko came and suggested singing a love song made by him. (The song "I Love You Too Much is sung by Diego Luna.) The pink and black-haired girl taught him how to play the guitar while Jack helps him write a song and for Raf? He kept you away from Smokescreen for a bit to take him some time.
Uncertainty, he found your (favorite color) guitar near your study table. Taking his chance to look at you, he noticed that you were exhausted. He takes the chance to take it and play a few chords.

He sang the four-sentence to say that he truly loves you. After finding out that your boyfriend (if you don't have one, pretend you do) has cheated on you, he tried to hold himself to not harm the man. As much as he wanted to tell you that he loves you more than anything, but he knows that it may take a while to heal your heart.

As he continued to sing, he failed to notice your smile. It was sad to say that the two of you were blind to see the love that is starting to bloom in the same room.

'Love.' The pair thought to themselves, which their cheeks became red. Who would believe that love is so beautiful but painful?

He then stopped singing and whispered to your ear. "I'll never count the years without you, instead, the seconds. There's no second that I haven't thought about you." Smokescreen let out a small laugh, before taking another chord from your guitar.

The mech remembered the day where he was painfully injured, then he shook his head. He almost lost his life and his love of his whole world is crying above him. He'll never forget that moment.

At that moment, Y/N opened her eyes to see Smokescreen looking at her with a smile, and his eyes show love.

He wanted to kiss you after singing, but he didn't want to destroy the moment. With the sudden cue, you laughed and spoke. "Just kiss me already, Smokey!"

"Did we did it?" Asked Raf who is trying to peek at the door but is no available. "Yes, we did," Arcee answered for the youngest kid with a smile on her face.
"Now that Smokescreen has a sparkmate, he will no longer ask me anything about love!" Ratchet angrily announced to the team, his tools' noise can be heard from the human area.
The members can only chuckle at the medic's reaction.
