Prompt: Smokescreen and Y/N enjoy their apple picnic date. While Y/N was eating the apple she picked from a tree, Smokescreen made a pun which got Y/N to laugh until she choked on the piece of apple she chewed. + Them laughing at my stupid jokes but not a forced laugh, like an actual laugh to a dumb pun.
Today was a great day. Your boyfriend, Smokescreen, invited you to a picnic date. Though as much to Miko's protest that she wanted to join, Jack grabbed her from behind, and with his luck, the girl happily take the game controller and play with him.
While Smokescreen? He's trying so hard to prepare everything. He asked June, Agent Fowler, Raf, and Optimus (for romantic purposes) about this picnic date. He wanted to make it perfect.
June gave him a few foods that are made from her and advice on what to do and not to do while Fowler gave him a gingham fabric. Raf helps him to find a better spot for the picnic for the two of you. Optimus? Trivago.
You never knew about this. Smokescreen wanted to surprise you and this is the best thing he could think of. He told this plan to everyone except Miko because he was sure that the pink and black-haired girl will spill it out.
Luckily, Miko didn't found anything about the date!
While you were discussing with Wheeljack about his past as a Wrecker and Cybertron's history, you failed to notice Smokescreen walking up to you and the femme. "Look what we have here! Pretty boy is here. Well, as much as I want to enjoy talking to you, Y/N, but I gonna go and fetch Ratchet. Bye and enjoy!"
You looked confused before looking at Smokescreen, who had a blush on his face. "What is going on?" He then explained what happened and the plan, which causes you to giggle, and gave him a yes.
It was a few hours since it occurred. The two of you were lying down from the grass while you take a bite from your apple that you pick from a tree.
It was fresh and interesting.
"Hey Y/N." Smokescreen said, breaking the silence between the two of you. You hummed, letting him know you were listening.
He looked at you with pure and loving eyes. It's now or never... "Knock knock?"
"Who's there?" You laughed as you adjusted your gaze to each star you see from the sky. "Olive." He answered your question. Smokescreen had asked Miko if she could help him flirt with you, and this is what she said. Hope he won't fail!
"Olive who?"
"Olive you, and I don’t care who knows it."
Silence.
"Nice knock-knock joke love. You made me laughed and happy at the same time today."
Gingham Fabric - Picture a picnic, and you are probably picturing a checkered tablecloth or blanket in the park.
