"Should we visit the Philippines again?" Santi asked as we got home from our morning run. Kakarating lang namin dito sa kusina, umiinom ng tubig.
Ilang buwan na ang nakalipas simula nung nakauwi ako dito. Santi and I are still so in love with each other, parang mas hulog na hulog na nga kami sa isa't isa ngayon. And we would mate any time and at any place. Hindi naman ako nagrereklamo. Gusto ko nga eh. Char.
Linunok ko muna yung iniinom kong tubig bago tumingin sa kanya habang sinasara yung takip ng tumbler ko. "Pwede naman. I've been wanting to visit Davao again. Mya just gave birth."
Napatingin siya sakin. "Really? I never knew she was pregnant..."
Natawa ako. "She was," Napawi nga lang yung ngiti ko nung maalala ko si Aly, Mya and Ian's first child. "they lost their first daughter years ago...."
He frowned before heading to the sink to wash his cup. Liningon niya ako habang naghuhugas. "What happened?"
"Boat accident. Nalunod," I shivered when I remembered Mya's story about Aly. I remembered how she cried while talking about her. Ang sakit isipin. "she was gone too soon."
He sighed before facing the sink. He dried the cup bago binalik sa pinaglagyan nito. Tinuyo niya ang kanyang mga kamay bago lumapit sakin. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I smiled lovingly at him and placed my hands on his chest.
"Let's stop talking about it. It's upsetting you," He said when he noticed my sudden change of mood while talking about Aly. "you know, I had a dream about you last night..."
I smiled and tilted my head, interested at what he's saying. "Really? Kwento mo nga."
"You were pregnant," He chuckled. "it made me so happy to see you pregnant with my pup. You looked so beautiful but...you always do." He said before giving me a soft kiss.
"Gusto mo na ba totohanin?" Nakangiti kong tanong. Hindi pa ako buntis kahit unprotected sex yung ginagawa namin dahil sa pills ko. I need to regulate my period and I had to take my pills for that.
"I want to marry you first," He said bago kinuha yung kamay kong suot ang singsing at hinalikan ito. "magpakasal na tayo pagkauwi natin galing Davao..."
Lumapad ang ngiti ko bago tumango. "Yeah, we should. I want to be your wife already," Sabi ko bago pinulupot ang aking mga kamay sa leeg niya at nilapit siya sakin. "I want your kids too."
He raised an eyebrow. "You want the sex—.."
Tumawa ako bago siya hinampas ng mahina sa dibdib. "You want that too, wag kang feeling malinis diyan!"
He smirked. "Of course, I do. Kaya nga inaaraw araw natin, diba?"
Mas lalo akong natawa dahil sa sinabi niya. Nag-asaran pa kami bago namin napagdesisyonang maligo na at maghanda para sa araw na yon. Matapos yung training ko last month, sumama na ako kay Santi sa Alpha duties niya. Mama Karrie and Mommy helped me with my Luna duties kasi medyo hirap ako at napepressure.
"You're doing well, love. I'm proud of you." Santi said as he kissed my forehead as we were entering the diner.
Dito na kami maglulunch dahil nagkasundo na kaming sabay kakain ng tanghalian bago ipagpatuloy ang mga trabaho namin. The waitress showed us our table and gave us the menus as we sat down. She took our orders and left with the menus.
"I love what I'm doing, love. I like finishing my tasks. I really do but taking care of the sick pups really broke my heart," I pouted as I remembered one of my tasks for today. "they looked so fragile and weak. I can't believe they got the flu."
