I left my phone somewhere else. Hindi ko alam kung san naiwan, sa stadium ba o sa Red Moon. Damn it! I wanted to call Jeremy, gusto ko siyang sabihan tungkol sa sitwasyon ko. Balak ko ring tumakas ngayon at sa kanya pumunta. Kanina ko pa siyang minamindlink pero hindi siya sumasagot kaya gusto ko siyang tawagan. I'm sure he's asleep, ganito siya matulog, parang patay kaya hindi nagigising sa boses ko.
"What's wrong, iha? You look so troubled." Tita Karrie asked with a gentle voice.
"W-Wala po, I'm still absorbing everything." Sabi ko.
She chuckled. "Take your time, I know everything happened so fast for you," She said. "are you guys hungry? Ipaghahanda ko kayo."
"Yes, Ma. I'm starving," Santino said before looking at me. "how about you?"
"Sige lang, salamat." Mahina kong sabi.
Tumango lamang si Santino bago sumunod sa kanyang ina papunta sa kusina. Sumunod na lamang ako at umupo sa counter table chair dahil yun ang sinabi ni Tita Karrie, Santino sat beside me.
"Where's Papa, Ma?" Tanong ni Santino.
"Asleep, he's tired. He was with the Supreme Alpha all day," She said while checking her fridge for food. "how was your trip? Is the stadium okay for the party?"
Santino glanced at me and I gulped. I saw him smirk before answering his Mother.
"We'll check again tomorrow, Ma. Zimiena's pack will help us." He answered.
"Oh, that's great! The Supreme Alpha mentioned the Red Moon pack multiple times yesterday, gustong gusto niyang nandun ang mga Knight sa kanyang party." Napatingin sakin si Tita Karrie habang naghihiwa ng karne.
"I'm sure my family will be present, Tita. It's the Supreme Alpha's birthday after all." I answered.
The Supreme Alpha is the eldest Alpha here in Alaska, every country has it's own Supreme Alpha. When one dies, the next eldest and most experienced Alpha will takeover. Of course, kung sinong Alpha rin ang may pinakamalaking pack ang susunod. My Lolo was supposed to be the Supreme Alpha instead of the current one pero nung mga panahon na yon ay hindi pa gaano kalaki ang Red Moon.
May chance maging Supreme Alpha soon si Daddy, wala pa naman siya sa edad na maging Supreme Alpha kaya hindi pa siya pwede. Mas malaki rin ang responsibilidad ng Supreme Alpha kaya paniguradong aayaw pa yon. He also told us before that he's not yet ready and said he needs more experience.
"Tita? Iha, ano ka ba? You should start calling me Mom already!" She giggled.
I smiled. I love her energy, she is so gentle and sweet. She was also full of positivity. But her son is her complete opposite. Baka nagmana sa tatay?
"Sorry, Mom." Nakangiti kong sabi sa kanya.
She sighed with a smile. "Ang sarap non sa tenga. I always wanted a daughter."
