George was welcomed into the end world by screams and chaos. Arrows were firing everywhere and they were being attacked by endermen in every direction.
This was not supposed to happen.
To the side there was a group digging into the side of a hill in an attempt to build a shelter so they would be more safe. A 2 block tall platform had been built over the entrance to the shelter to enable players to get to the hole without being reached by endermen.
George followed the rest of his group into the hole and began to help hollow out the hill enough to fit everyone that would be shortly arriving to the end world.
Out of the corner of his eye he took note of Dream who had now also arrived to the end world. George felt much safer now that Dream had arrived yet there was still a small part of George that hoped that for some reason Dream wouldn't have been allowed through the portal. It sounded stupid becasue George knew they needed Dreams PvP skills to beat the game, but if Dream wasn't allowed through to portal George could be sure that he was safe. In here anything could happen.
The first group to enter the end world had the hardest job of preparing for all the other players. The group worked feverishly for the better part of an hour preparing for the next group. They dug and dug even making multiple levels to their base in order to insure that everyone would fit. They lined the walls with chests so they could bring in extra supplies.
Before George knew it a new group was streaming into their base loading the chests with the extra supplies they brought, immediately beginning to prepare themselves for the fight of their lives; a fight they may never come out of.
George spotted a few familiar faces amongst the mass of players flooding into the hill: Wilbur, Niki, and Minx were some of them.
The three rushed over to where George was sitting with Sapnap, Dream and Quackity.
"Well this wasn't what I expected at all" Wilbur commented.
Minx and Niki nodded their heads in agreement.
"Same with us," replied Sapnap. "We kinda just arrived and were immediately bombarded with attacking endermen. We had to do what we could with the time we had so I guess for the time being we live in a hill"
"Do you know when the next group is arriving?" questioned Minx
George thought about the question for a minute before realising they had no way to tell the time in this world. In the upper world they could guess based on the position of the sun. "I have no clue" we eventually concluded.
The groups were supposed to be arriving every hour to allow the previous group enough time to adjust to the new world.
Either time world differently on the endworld or the adrenaline in everyone's veins made time seem to go quicker because within what felt like no time group 3 had arrived. Now there were around 300 players crammed into 2 out of the 6 floors of the base.
Not long later group 4 showed up. Then group 5. Then 6, 7, 8, 9 and finally 10.
The hill was filled to the brim with players. Everyone was packed together tightly there was no point in even trying to move because it was impossible to get anywhere.
George was in the small group of people who were talented with a bow, meaning that shortly after Group 10 had arrived he had to fight his way through the crowd to make it to the top floor of the base.
There were about 10 shooters assigned to take out the end spikes at the top of the obsidian towers. Each shooter had a guard of between 10 and 15 people that were to protect the shooter at all costs until the end spike had been destroyed.
