Once everyone had made it back from the battle and had settled in, the total ender pearls were counted along with the death toll.

In total about 100 pearls were collected and the death toll was only about 150 people.

George was still shaken from the battle but not nearly as much as Bad who barely said a word for the rest of the day.

It was now around dinner and Dream and George were out for a walk in the forest. They walked in silence for the most part occasionally commenting on their surroundings. They found their usual spot beside the lake and both sat down against a tree. Dream removed his mask as soon as they were comfortable letting George see his deep green eyes.

"What happened on your end of the battle? George asked, scooting closer to Dream.

"Well everything seemed to be fine throughout most of the night and it was actually really boring until just before dawn. That's when the hunters decided to crash the party." dream said in an annoyed voice accompanied by an eye roll. "We didn't know they were there until one of them accidentally shot an arrow at one of our guys. Then we saw them running in all directions, we weren't sure where tho. Then the rest of them just charged us and boom we were once again in the middle of a fight." explained Dream.

George nodded in response

"What about you? What happened to you guys?"

"After we left base we walked to our assigned spots and waited till an enderman came and we obviously killed them and collected the pearls
they dropped. We then took turns being endermen bate and although we were bored and tired we just kept collecting. That is until I was going to collect the pears that an enderman had dropped and someone shot an arrow out of nowhere and lit the pearls on fire. Then we had to fight off our attackers and we decided to go check on you guys. When we got back there was obviously a fight going on so we decided to gather some people and try to find and destroy the beds. Which is exactly what we did." George finished, leaning his head on dreams shoulder and shutting his eyes recalling the recent string of events.

"I'm glad you made it out safely. Also thanks for breaking the beds, that made my job much easier." Dream leaned his head on George's wrapping an arm around the smaller boy's shoulders and lacing their fingers together.

"Mmh welcome," was all George could mumble before burying his head deeper into the crook of Dream's neck and falling asleep, basking in the wonderful scent of the other boy.

Dream sat admiring the look of utter peace on George's face as he slept, contemplating waking the boy in his arms or leaving him to sleep in peace. He eventually decided to stay put and let the exhausted George sleep, soon falling asleep himself.

--------------------------------

George woke the next morning with his head still on Dreams' shoulder, their legs tangled together. He raised head a bit to see that Dream was still sleeping. Dream's breathing was rhythmic and calming, his chest moved up and down just enough to lul George back into a peaceful sleep.

Dream was the one to wake up next, the sun was already high in the sky meaning the boy's had slept in. He didn't mind tho, they both desperately needed sleep after the past few days of restless nights and tiring days. Dream tried to move the arm that was beneath George only to realize that it had fallen asleep. He giggled to himself before carefully shaking George out of his slumber.

"Morning, sleeping beauty" Dream cooed a smile evident in his voice.

George mumbled what Dream assumed to be a good morning, although he couldn't really tell as the boy had his face buried deep in Dream's shoulder.

"What time is it?' George asked, finally removing his head from Dream's arm allowing blood to resume flowing through it.

"Dunno, but we should probably head back to base, Sapnap and Bad are probably worried sick." Dream answered, standing up and reaching out a hand to help George up as well.

The walk back to the base was quiet, mostly due to George still being more than half asleep.

As expected, Sapnap and Bad had panicked once they realized the boys had not come back last night. As soon as Deam and George returned they were tackled by the others and harshly scolded for leaving and not telling anyone where they had gone.

"You muffin heads, tell us where you are going next time! We thought you had been kidnapped!!" shouted Bad.

George and Dream laughed at their friends, assuring them that they were just fine and had fallen asleep together in the forest.

Sapnap caught George's eye and winked, causing George to blush furiously and hit Sapnap on the arm playfully.

Once Bad was done ranting about the dangers of the forest at night - majority of which neither George nor Dream had paid much attention to - the 4 headed down to where all the crafting tables had been stored along with the blaze rods and ender pearls, to help begin the crafting.

Crafting was going to be a long process because it took longer than it did in the normal game, not to mention they had about 50 blaze rods that needed to be crafted into blaze powder as well as another 100 ender pearls then needed to be crafted into eyes of ender once all the blaze powder had been crafted. Needless to say this would be a long next few days.

When the group had arrived players had already begun crafting, leaving them to find 4 empty crafting tables and begin the crafting process.

--------------------------

Hours later and the 4 boys were exhausted. Having only crafted a fraction of the supplies, they meandered to the dining hall for dinner. They ate in complete silence, all far too tired to say anything.

After they had finished they parted ways, each going to their respected houses to get some sleep before repeating the same routine tomorrow.

George laid in bed tossing and turning unable to sleep. It's not like he wasn't tired because he was very tired, he just couldn't sleep. There was too much and too little on his mind at the same time. On one hand he couldn't stop thinking about the recent fight and how he had almost lost one of his closest friends, but on the other hand he was relieved he could have a break for a few days.

George perked up a bit when an idea suddenly came to him. He got out of bed and wandered to Dream's house not far away. He quietly opened the door trying his best not to wake his friend, making his way to Dream's room. The door to his room was open a crack so George peeked his head in to see a sleeping Dream. George lifted a corner of the blankets sliding into the bed, careful not to wake the other. His bed was warm and it immediately gave George a sense of security he knew only Dream could provide, not to mention everything smelt like dream and to George he might as well be in heaven. Within minutes George had fallen into a deep sleep surrounded by nothing but peace and happiness.
