Darkness quickly enclosed the teams, everyone watched in anticipation as the mobs began to spawn in every direction.
George - being the unfortunate sacrifice - sat in the middle of a small clearing in a forest with no weapon and no armour.
George hated being the sacrifice. All he could hear was the noises of nearby mobs and the rustling of the trees. In order for this plan to work he had to put all of his trust in his team members and that was easier said than done.
His thoughts were disrupted as out of the corner of his eye he noticed a tall, drak, slender figure emerge from the trees.
This was it. This was the beginning of the battle.
He could hear the pounding of his heart in his ears as He carefully turned his head to face the enderman. Brown eyes met purple and as if on cue the enderman unhinged it's jaw and
charged straight at him. He had no defence other than his team which he could only assume we're waiting nearby. He braced for the pain as the enderman hit him. Fuck that hurt. The hit didn't do much damage but it was enough to bring him down 2 hearts and cause almost as much pain as the wither effect he had recently experienced. He flinched expecting a second hit but was relieved to find that the rest of his team was now dealing damage to the enderman. He took his chance and jumped behind a bush before he had the chance to get unwillingly involved in the situation. The sound of his pounding heart was drowned out by the yells and shrieks coming from his friends. He carefully peaked around the bush he had taken cover behind to see the ongoing war. Despite it being 4 on 1 his friends looked like they were struggling to finish off the enderman.
'It had to be close to being dead' he thought, watching as Sapnap finally took out the enderman with an impressive swing of his axe.
"George where are you?" he heard Bad call, exhaustion evident in his voice.
George stood up revealing himself to the others.
"Did the enderman drop any pearls" he asked, walking over to his friends.
"Yeah, but only one" announced Skeppy while he went through the items the enderman had dropped.
George was partially relieved that they had at least one ender pearl.
"I wonder how the other groups are doing?" commented purple.
George was also curious so he opened the chat to see if there was any useful information. George counted only 1 death so far and no other notifications.
The group sat in silence for a few minutes eating in order to regenerate the health that was lost due to the enderman. They still had to collect more pearls seeing as one was nowhere near enough compared to what they needed.
The group had decided that it would be most fair if they switched the defenseless person after every time they collected another pearl, meaning that George no longer had to sit and wait for the inevitable attack. They had decided that this time it was Skeppys turn.
George had retrieved his armour and sword that Bad had been keeping safe for him before he climbed up a nearby tree and sat patiently awaiting another attack.
He wondered how Dream was doing. Had the hunters once again found out about their plan? Was he in danger? Was Dream thinking about him? His worries got to him and he decided to check the chat one more time just to make sure Dream wasn't dead. As far as he could see Dream was still alive and well.
----------------
Hours had passed and their team had collected 3 more pearls and had fought 6 more enderman. Unfortunately for them some of the endermen hadn't dropped any pears. n
Nonetheless they were happy that they at least had 4. Granted they still needed many more but who know how many the other 90 groups had collected.
