Y/N's POV
~ A few days later~
It had been to many days to count, or weeks even that you were trapped in this wretched village. It had been sunny for a few days, then all of a sudden now it was constant snow and cold. You had been scrounging around for food, in what remains of houses there were. To terrified to go in any of the grotesque buildings you could see in the distance, especially the castle.
You were in a small house close to the village square, with a small fire going knowing you had to put it out soon, because of the monsters that had lurked during the night. The howls that seemed to get closer and closer every night, and you had nothing to protect yourself with. You shot up as you heard a sound of something snap outside. You grabbed your gun, keeping your finger on the trigger, as you slowly walked to the window looking out. A rabbit. "Damned rabbits.." You muttered, going back to the fire to keep what warmth you could. Your stomach growled, knowing you could have shot the rabbit but you didn't want to waste what little bullets you had in case you missed it. You looked at your bloodied hands and arms, from running and fighting a few beasts, beasts you weren't even sure what to call. All you knew is that they made the village reek of the dead. All you wanted was to go back home, in your own comfort and forget about everything, you even missed the thought of social interaction, and human touch at that.

"I can't believe we are back in this shit hole, I want to know why and where this person is. It could be a trap for all we know so have your guns ready at all times." He said, looking around. The snow was back, the traces of mold were back. What and who else could be back? He took down the fungi and watched Ethan die to save them for it. He looked around for loose footprints, but the person didn't seem to want to move around much. Possibly they were dead.
"Uncle Chris." Rose stepped beside him.
"God damn it Rose get back in the vehicle! I told you if you were to come you would listen to my orders!" He growled, not moving an inch. He looked at his gloved hand, the same gloves he worn here the first time. Practically the same outfit, but it fit a little more tighter then he'd like to admit.
"Fine, I was just going to say look." She pointed out, the house that had some smoke coming from the chimney in the long distance. He was surprised that houses were still standing almost as if some of the villagers might have come back to rebuild the place but monsters came back and they all up and left. Except one.
"This is Alpha, up southeast around the bend past the village square. We have our lead. I will go, on my own but stay in the houses around." He said, walking back to the armored truck as hoisted himself in. He sighed, looking at Rose in the rearview mirror, looking annoyed and a little upset. "Fine, come on." He muttered, and waited for to get in. As soon as she got in he drove towards the house, the snow seemed to be coming down harder the farther and closer they got to the house. He looked at the sky. "It's almost night time." He said, more to himself then Rose. He pulled up a couple houses away. "Alright, Rose... please listen to me and stay here. I will even let you drive. If I have to break for it." He said, and got out of the truck. He grabbed his gun, and started to walk closer. He warned his men to come closer to the block. He pushed the wooden door open, seeing a figure curled up near the fire. They were asleep? They shot up and pointed the gun at him. "Easy! Who are you! I am not here to harm you!" He said. "Drop the gun." He stepped closer, to get a better view of the person. To the best of his abilities through the dim light of the fire.
"I am Y/N and... I... I don't know how.. I got here please..please don't kill me."
