Chris's P.O.V

Chris looked at Y/N, now that they were clean, freshly dressed, and full.  They seemed a little more less afraid to be here.  He understood the HQ, and being brought here out of nowhere was probably terrifying and confusing at the least.  He tried his best to remain calm with them.  He was genuinely concerned that Y/N, wasn't lying when they said they didn't remember.  Was Miranda back? Or was something else bigger and even worse badder?  No matter what was probably in the shape of a human that they'd have to find.  Mentioning the mold seemed to spark something in Y/N, he noticed.

"You... know what it is?"  Chris asked, as he put his feet down to the floor, and straightened. Leaning forward on his desk.

"It does ring a bell... I remember hearing about it in the village..long time ago."  Y/N said, there eyes widened as they as if they remembered something. Were they part of the village, back then?  He watched them shake there head, and rub the bridge of their nose.  He frowned, not wanting to push them.

"Very well, I can show you to your room again. I don't have anything important to do right now besides look over some things, tomorrow we can have you tested in the lab."  He said.

"Thanks for making me sound like some freak that needs to get tested on..." Y/N said.  Chris frowned and looked at them.

"That I probably should have worded that better, but I meant was blood work to see if there are any traces of mold, and with your memory being blank we need to try to work on bringing some of that back, we will do what it takes even if it means scrounging through the village.  From what I noticed if any villagers fled, even if that might included you.. they seemed to start building up that village again because we blew the village and now the houses are miracously being built, at least some of them."

Y/N kept quiet.

~Y/N's P.O.V.~

Chris was right, you did vaguely remember the broken houses and then during the day hearing some banging, but didn't want to go quite investigate in fear of getting killed.  You didn't like the fact that you had to go to the labs, and get blood tested, and for what traces of the Mold? You felt fine, besides being nervous around this man.  He was tall, and muscular and looked like he could choke you with just his thumb.  You walked down the hallway with Chris, taking in the blank details of the headquarters, wondering how long the building was here or if it just somehow appeared out of nowhere.  "Don't feel like decorating the place, huh?" You said, trying to lighten the mood.

He chuckled.  "Considering most of our sleeping quarters are here, no.  We tend to hopefully not stay long here, most of us live in America.

"What is America like?" You asked, trying to keep small talk until you got to your room. You were curious.  If you were in America, or had been born in America you hadn't remembered anything about it.

"It's.. a place, I suppose when this mission is done and you decide you want to come and not stay in Europe, I can show you around.  If you are not some death eating machine, or bioweapon."  He said.  He offered for you to come to America? You barely even knew him, although life was an adventure.  You never know what would happen in just a short amount of time.  Just then the building shook, causing you to lose footing, and slam into Chris's body.  His hands on your arms, and he was genuinely confused as well.

"Sir, it appears.."  One of his men ran up to him.  "That something has awakened under the village."
