You looked at Chris for a long moment as he held eye contact you with his blue eyes searching yours right back. You jolted forward, breaking eye contact with him when the truck came to a halt. "Where are we?" You asked. You watched his lieutenant open the door, as snow instantly blew into the armored van. Instantly seeing the village houses in the distance. "Why are we back at the village?"
"I'm taking you with me, (Y/N). And we will find out what's going on again." Chris said sternly. Not even looking once in your direction as he got out. He grabbed, weapons getting them ready. You frowned, slowly following behind to get out. So he did blame you for this? That was it? You thought. You walked towards the cliffs edge, looking at the village down below. All you could see were lights, from flashlights of the military men searching about. You knew there weren't any villagers there, they took off once the heard the first howl of wolves. You jumped back at the force of a hand around your wrist. Then something metal being placed in your hand. Breaking your train of thought and the slight useless memory, that came back to your mind. "Here, I will entrust you not to shoot me in the back of the head." Chris said.
"Never." You said, sarcastically. Looking up at him, as you wrapped your hand around the handle of the gun. You watched him raise an eyebrow at your comment, a small smirk played at his lips, but he said nothing. As he removed his hand from your wrist. Instantly feeling the cool winter air hit your skin.
"We shouldn't be out here in the dark for to long, we don't know what's awakening again with this shit, but I'm not about to find out tonight. This is as far as any vechile is making it." He said, as he started to walk in front of you down a path. Almost as if he went down the path before. At least his memories weren't gone, and vanished in the wind, like yours.
"So, you walk off... without a word. I thought you were the Alpha...the big man, the..."
"Don't get my ego to high, (Y/N) you should be smart enough to follow and stay close to me at least." He said, walking down. You looked at the snow below your feet, as you followed him. The only sound between you two was the crunch of the snow. You came to a halt, instantly running into what felt like a cushioned wall, but it was Chris's back. He looked around, bringing his gun out. You watched him hold out an arm, to stop you from going and more forward. You looked around, seeing and hearing nothing for you two to stop.
"Why are we--" You stopped, as he took your arm and quickly moved down the path, you tried to hold yourself up from slipping on the snow. Not wanting to take you both out from whatever it was that had him like this. This man was more action then words. You were in the village now, not remembering how you two got there so quickly. All of a sudden, your were pressed up against the wall, as Chris's chest was in front your face. You heart raced for a moment, feeling the heat from his body. He looked down at you, for a moment, as he cocked his gun, and peered around the corner, hearing a growl.
"Lycans."
