*Smut Warning*
"We have to be very, very quiet, understand?" I whisper to my daughter, her hands covering her mouth with a nervous nod.
I cover my daughter and I within the invisibility of my shield. We walk carefully through the castle, ensuring that we would not be caught by anyone passing us. I hold her hand tightly, as we lurk around every corner. We are close to our destination, when a vampire in a light grey cloak starts to make way towards us. I pull my daughter close, covering her mouth so that her breathes would not be detected. We watch anxiously as the vampire passes. He stops before us, sniffing the air as he must have caught our scent. Charlotte and I were in such a rush that we forgot about covering our scent. We stood frozen as we wait for the vampire to pass us by, however he lingers as he tries to find the source of whatever he smelt.
"Hey. You're next on duty. Hurry up." A female voice calls from the end of the hallway.
"I'm coming...but I smell something sweet. Almost as if someone sprayed perfume in the hallway." The male vampire speaks, his nose still up in the air.
"I don't know—just hurry up. Some of us gotta feed." She hissed.
The male still seemed reluctant to leave, but with a grunt, he stomps away to follow after the other vampire. Watching him disappear from our sight, I finally release my daughter from my grip. Pulling her hand, we flit down the corridor knowing that our destination wasn't too far from us. Standing in front of the door, I look to my daughter with new relief.
"Okay...we're here, now remember the plan?"
"Yes, mama." My daughter nods with affirmation. And with that we swing open the doors.
Two men sit across from each other in office chairs. They both look towards the door upon it opening. "Hello?" One says as his eyes begin to shift back and forth.
"Ana?" The other questions, coming to his feet.
Charlotte giggles, making our stealth evermore compromised. "Caro? Principessa?" The raven-haired man then looks with more intrigue.
Unable to continue our secrecy. I bring down the shield with the brightest smile on both my daughter's and my face. "Surprise!"
"Happy Father's Day!" Charlotte shrills excitedly.
Both of my mates seem taken aback by the sudden and unexpected celebration. "What's all this?" Aro blinks with momentary confusion.
"It's Father's Day daddy." Charlotte says, running towards Aro happily.
"Father's Day?" Marcus questions, and I tsk.
"Have you two never heard of it? It's a holiday to celebrate fathers. The last two years went uncelebrated...and I wanted to make sure not to miss this one. You both deserve to be celebrated, right sprout?" I look to my daughter who holds tightly to Aro's waist.
Aro leans down with a wide grin. "Thank you my Principessa. But being your father everyday is something that needn't be celebrated, because I would never choose to be anything else." He kisses Charlotte's cheek before rubbing their noses together.
Charlotte smiles with the gesture before being released to go to my other mate. "Happy Father's Day, papa!" She jumps into his arms, where he tosses her up in the air and catching her into a tight hug.
"Grazie, tesori." He says happily, as he blows a raspberry into her cheek, making her giggle hysterically.
I smile with the sight, before then giving my own affections to my mates. Going up to Aro, I kiss him tenderly. "Happy Father's Day." I say, before turning to my other mate.
