Chapter:4-Our Loved Ones _______________
"Oh come on Chiiyuki-chan! Forgive Takeuchi-san alright?" Kuurusu said to me and I turned to him with slightly wet eyes, "I have a cold because of him!" I said and turned around to face Suwa-san. "Tell him!" I said. "She has a cold because of him." Suwa said nonchalantly. I gave him a blank look.
"Come on Chii-chan!" Takeuchi-san said to me while offering me a red pendant. "There, a token of my apology." He said with a cute smile. My heart just melted in two as I took the pendant from his hand, 'I would've never forgiven you if you didn't have such a cute smile!' I thought to myself and turned away from him. "It's alright... just be careful from the next time... Achoo!" I sneezed again. "You come with me first." Takeuchi-san said to me and held my arm. "Wait but-" I stopped, worried about how he'd feel if I told him I was scared he'd feel the urge to suck blood.
"I won't do anything alright? I won't even look at your blood, just bandage the wound." He said. I just stared at him, my lips agape in curiosity and eyes stationary towards his face. 'Somehow, you seem like you can read my mind... Takeuchi.' But I just lowered my head and walked with him as he supported my torso. "There!" He said as he took out a huge scroll of bandages and stared wrapping them around my waist. Fast as he already was, he was highly skilled as well. "That should do it! Now once we get back, take lots of sleep and medicine!" He said while lightly poking onto my nose. "Achoo!" I sneezed again as the others chuckled. "You're really cute Chii-chan." He chuckled.
"SHUUTAROU!!"
We suddenly heard an anonymous voice come at us out of nowhere. Yamaguchi-san signaled Kurusu. He nodded and jumped up, vanishing from the spot. A girl just appeared out of nowhere, in front of us. She was in a western outfit, pants and a coat, with a bow tie. "You guys... are from before..." She said huffing. Her eyes vividly moving in every possible direction to find someone. To find Kurusu. "T-there was another person with you just now, wasn't there? A tall fair skinned person wearing the same military uniform?" The girl just approached me and clutched both of my arms. "I-I am sorry miss... perhaps you mistook one of us for someone else?" I said seeking assistance from Yamagami-san. "Ain't no one like that here. We're the only ones." Suwa-san said as she let go of my arm and looked at him.
"Are you perhaps looking for someone?" Takeuchi-san said. "Yes, Do you know a person named Shuutarou Kurusu? He is also a soldier." She said, hope still glimmered through the worry she held in her eyes. Her words reflecting how deeply she cared for her friend. "It's unfortunate, but the four of us are the only ones on duty as of now." Yamagami-san said. "Maybe you saw an illusion?" Suwa-san said as I turned my gaze over to the girl. She grit her teeth and looked at the ground while hunching her shoulders. "That's so..." She seemed very sad at that moment. "You look rather pale, you should go home and rest. If you'd like, be my guinea pig." Takeuchi-said as Suwa-san hit him at the back. "We're busy 'ya see, so if ya'll excuse us. Got no clue who they are, but if a, they ain't here. Face reality." Suwa-san said and turned around.
"Are you waiting for them to come back?" Yamagami-san said. "He might... be dead already... I wanted... to be with him more." The girl said as tears began to form in her eyes.
"I don't know if I am being noisy but... I am a soldier too. I have lost a lot of comrades and I am uncertain when death will strike me next. However, we call recall the faces of our loved ones in our final moments. And a soldier's wish is to have those people live happily. So, be happy." Yamagami-san said and I smiled at the girl. "If you stay happy, they'll feel their job was well done." I said. "I am sure they're alive. You're not going to say even if it's a lie are you." The girl smiled as the tears shone from her eyes. "For a young woman like you, there's a great future ahead of you. Such a gentle lie would only cause you more pain." Yamagami-san said as the girl nodded and thanked us. "Um..." The girl called out to us just when we were heading off, "Don't die alright? Come back to the people you cherish." She said just before we went off.
"Major, Chiiyuki-chan." Kurusu jumped off the building and rejoined with us. "Thank you." He said to us. "Humph! I didn't do anything." He said. "No.... You cried for me." He said to us as I wiped off a tear drop from my eyes. Just then, I felt a strange thump on my chest and I wobbled a bit. "C-chii-chan... You alright?" Takeuchi-san said as Suwa approached me. "Yea-" I blacked out.

"I see, so you found the smuggler." I heard a familiar voice as I sat up. A wet cloth fell off from my forehead. "Mmmngh..." I muttered in pain. "Oh, Hi there Chiiyuki. Nice to meet you again." I saw a familiar, gentle smile. "Shinnosuke-san!" I said happily and jolted upwards to stand up and greet him. But a pair of hands gripped my waist and made me sit back down. "You need rest Chii-chan." Takeuchi-san said to me as I looked up front. "Oh, we found the smuggler. And I got to go on my first mission!" I said to Shinnosuke. "I know, I heard you did a good job." He smiled back at me. "Well, coming back to the point. We have no other information than that." Takeuchi said with a tilted head.
"We also have zero info about your business rival. Sorry we can't help you any more than that." Kurusu said and I nodded. "How about the contents? You've looked into it I presume?" Shinnosuke asked. "Yup! It has the V-virus." Takeuchi shot up in response. "Vampire virus inside the serum?" Shinnosuke seemed to wonder about it a few times. "Isn't that confidential!?" Kurusu panicked a bit. "Oh it's fine~ We're in a give and take relationship." Takeuchi buzzed it off as usual.
"That aside... Suwa-san, you jumped off a high place again right? Colonel Maeda was like, 'who's gonna clean up the mess if there were any witnesses?' Huh!?" Takeuchi said as I giggled. "He did. And he was scary." Kurusu and I said together. "Will Ya' shut up? We'll just make it one of 'em seven mysteries." Suwa said and I chuckled again, "The legend of the falling Suwa-san!" I said as Kurusu laughed and Suwa-san shot us a glare to shut us up.
"Haaa, Tomiko..." Yamagami san said while sitting in the corner. "Tomiko-san was his wife right?" Takeuchi asked. "Yeah." I nodded. Mysteriously, all of my wounds had already healed.

NEXT TIME- "Yamagami san! Let's say our good byes!" Kurusu said. The two left off to bid farewells to their families. "Takeuchi-san... I want to bury my family too." I said. "Huh? But they mistreated ya' right?" Suwa said as I looked at him.
"Even so, they were still my family. And I loved them."
CHAPTER SECTRETS- -Yamagami was really emotional. -Chiiyuki was crying. -A strange thing happened inside of her body, due to which, she stopped aging. -Takeuchi was glad they made up. -Suwa was really worried about Chiiyuki when she fainted. He carried her all the way back.
