"Let's go say our goodbyes." Kurusu said to Yamagami. "Let's what!?" Yamagami was clearly surprised and confused by what Kurusu has suggested. " It will be like a mission to visit in their dreams." He said.

"Speaking of... I am still unaware of my family's condition." I said while rubbing onto my neck which hurt horribly. "Why are you so worried about that?" Takeuchi asked me. "I want to bury them with respect. As in... I will never be able to see them again right?" I looked at him with slightly watery eyes. "You said they mistreated ya' right?" Suwa said as I bit my lip. I looked back at my past, I remembered my scars and pitifully smiled at myself. I looked at Suwa with a smile, "True, they may have stolen my childhood from me... they may have treated me like an object...." I gulped and looked down at my shoes, trying my best to push away the sick feeling in my throat. "....but.. they were still my family. And I loved them." I said with a smile, a forced smile.

"Chiiyuki, you are a kind person..." Suwa said and looked at Takeuchi. He sighed and looked back at me, "I will accompany you there, so stay assured." Suwa said and I nodded with joy. "Takeuchi's gonna be staying here. Look after the shelter." Suwa said as the both of us headed out. Yamagami-san and Kurusu has already gone on ahead, which left the two of us. Takeuchi-san came with us, he said he'd be bored alone.

I fastened my uniform and put on my shoes. I tied up my hair and prepared to leave with Suwa-san and Takeuchi-san. Yamagami-san and Kurusu had already left off to say good bye to their families who now thought they were dead.

"Old man Maeda sent a few footmen to assist us with this mission. You are only allowed to take in some personal belongings, the rest will be done by the soldiers." Takeuchi said as I silently nodded. I could feel Suwa-san's gaze on me, but for some reason all I could do was look down in sadness.

"It's strange...." I mumbled. "What's strange?" Takeuchi suddenly leaned forward towards me. His sense of hearing is really something. "... I know they did horrible things to me... but now that I look back at it, all I see is their smiling faces." I said with a forced smile. "You really are a nice person." Suwa-san said as he walked by me. "...." I was short on words.

The atmosphere was embraced by an anonymous tranquility. We slowly approached the place, the Shizukari mansion. I took in a few steps when suddenly Suwa stopped me with his hand. "W-what's wrong?" I asked. "Vampires." Takeuchi spoke up in a low voice. "What do you mean... there are still vampires left in here?" I asked in shock. "Yeah." Suwa-san said as I gulped. We slowly walked inside with the team. I could see the corpses of our servants and maids.

All of them torn to bits and sucked dry. "Damn... just what kind of a monster must've done this!?" Takeuchi-san whispered. We slowly took our steps furthur inside, I was leading the way while Takeuchi-san was behind me and Suwa-san was keeping the vampires off. The horrible smell of rotting flesh filled my lungs. "How long has it been since the attack?" Suwa-san asked. "About a week and a half."I said still trying to spot my parent's dead bodies through the dark.

"Ah- there!" I almost shouted when I saw a familiar kimono. I ran towards the two corpses as the footmen surrounded us and stayed at the lookout. Takeuchi-san looked at the corpses of my parents and frowned. "They have been..." he said as I bit my lip in guilt. I started searching through the corpses of my parents. I first looked at my father, his beloved watch, his ring and the family ring, I took them off and kept them as an offering and a memorial. Next I searched through my mother's clothing.

"See Chiiyuki! This kimono! I will gift it to you when you grow up!"

I remembered her words. "Mom... did you really love me?" I asked in a whisper, a question destined to never have a reply.

I ran my hand through her rotten and shrunk arms, I took off her wedding ring and her bracelet. Then I ran over my hand on her inner pockets, and what I found, left me with tears.

It was my photo from when I was young and put on an oversized kimono to impress her.

"Look mommy! I can dress myself!"

"My dear child! Come on here! Good job!"

I hugged the photo and started crying. "Is that all? Chiiyuki?" Suwa-san asked as I lightly nodded. He then picked me up and we left.
