That Monday morning, the couple got up together like usual. Kellin was unfortunately dreading the day, clueless on when his pregnancy symptoms would reveal themselves. He sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. "Sleep good baby?" Vic asked as he was still lying in the warmth of the covers. Kellin nodded standing up and heading toward the bathroom, "I slept great! And you handsome?" The smaller asked walking into the bathroom. "I slept good too, Cutie." Kellin did his morning routine, Vic joining him halfway. "If we make it out early can we stop for doughnuts?" He asked, running a brush through his hair. "Sounds good to me princess." Vic then grabbed his own brush and began going through his hair with it.
Kellin then went back into the room and slipped off the nightshirt he was wearing. Looking at himself in his full-bodied mirror, he smiled softly. He noticed he already had a baby bump. Reality began to set in, Kellin initially thinking it was just him gaining weight. It could only be seen without his shirt. "Vic!" He said happily, bouncing in his place. "Yes?" The elder asked, walking toward Kellin. "I have a baby bump," he motioned downward with his eyes.
Vic looked at the small little bump that had developed on his boyfriend's stomach. His heart melted, him bringing his hand up to place it on Kellin's tummy with a soft smile. It was something to prove their little baby was on the way. He leaned down and pressed butterfly kisses to the tummy, making Kellin giggle. "Our beautiful little one," he whispered, giving Kellin's tummy one last kiss. He then stood back up properly and pulled Kellin into a kiss. Kellin moved his lips in sync with Vic's as they went at their slow and sweet pace. The smaller hand moved to cup Vic's cheek as he was lulled deeper into the kiss. After a few seconds, the elder pulled back knowing it would lead to something more if they continued.
Luckily for Kellin, the two did manage to make it out at an early time. Kellin got water while Vic got coffee. Once the rest of their order (which would be, ten doughnut holes and two chocolate covered doughnuts) came out, the two left and headed for the school. Kellin enjoyed his breakfast and hoped he would be able to keep something down for the day. "The baby is saying thank you," Kellin chuckled, gently rubbing his baby bump. "You're welcome little one," Vic shook his head. There was a content look on his features, he truly felt happy. It had been so long since Vic had felt this happy with anyone. Those three words he had been hesitant to say sat on the tip of his tongue.
Would that be the right moment to tell Kellin he loved him? That's the question that held him back from saying those three words. Vic reached for Kellin's hand. Upon contact, he laced their fingers together and brought the smaller's hand to his lips. Kellin's heart sped slightly, his lips pulled into a bright smile. He felt undeniably lucky. He gave a quick glance off the road, looking at the boy lovingly just as he placed the gentle kiss upon the other's skin. He looked back at the road with a smile on his face as he let their hands fall back into place. "You're cute," The younger said with a little giggle, leaning over to press a soft kiss to Vic's cheek.
When they had gotten to the school, the two walked in and met up with their usual group. It was about ten minutes later when the bell rang, and the group parted ways. Kellin sat next to Mike like usual, and the two engaged in conversation until the bell rang again. Throughout the day Kellin felt fine, so he was glad to be finally getting a break from his morning sickness. That was until it came time for his last hour. The teacher for this hour was Mrs.Gal. She was an older teacher, who had it out nearly for everyone except her couple favorites. Sitting in his seat, he was experiencing slight heartburn from the hot Cheetos he ate during lunch and his fourth hour. He made a face of discomfort, letting out a puff of air. Then a wave of dizziness made the room seem as if it were spinning. He let out a silent sigh of frustration, knowing she might give him a hard time. He raised his hand, and his teacher was typing away at her keyboard. Kellin knew that he would have to get up in order to get her attention.
