"Boys go clean its your turn tonight." Vivan says. "But mama." Mike groans. "No, buts go clean." Vic, Mike, and Victor (Vic's dad) gets up to go clean.

"So Kellin I heard about your mom." she says with a sympathetic look. "Oh yeah, I'm fine it's just.." I sigh, "she's never left for this long it's usually a week or two, but never more than a month." I say.

"Hun I know you can make it though I know I haven't known you for so long but I have known you long enough to know that you are strong and even the wrong decisions can be turned Into the right ones." she said.

"How?" I asked. "I had a friend like you, she was strong and she wasn't the smartest in school she didn't exactly make the right decisions either but she went to collage, and from what I heard now she lives somewhere here, she lives in a big house working, a very good job, she has kids, and great husband making good money." She said.

"Wow really, I hope this decision I made was the right one." I said putting a hand on my stomach. "I think it is, I can't wait to be a grandma to be honest. I'll also be here to help when you guys need me." she said.

"Yeah I know, you know your kinda like the mom I never had." I say, smiling. "All your mom needs to do is show you some love and affection." She said.

"No, it's okay. I'm used to her not being there it shouldn't even effect me how she just says she won't be coming back for awhile." I say looking down and then looking back at her.

"C'mere," she motions me to come closer to her. So I did. She put a pillow on her lap and patted it. "Lay your head down." She said. I put my head on the pillow. "You can put your feet on the couch." she said, so I did laying on my side.

She started running her fingers through my hair in a comforting and soothing manner.

"Now Kellin, you shouldn't be used to it, your mom should be being a mom not doing what ever she's doing. She's a grown lady and your still in high school she should be helping you, caring for you, loving you, being there for you in your time of need, Like a mother should." She said.

"I bet she would be like that, but, it feels like I don't know her, cause she's always gone." I said tears starting to form into my eyes.

"Look at me." I turned around so I was laying on my back. She wiped my tears. "When ever she comes back don't be mad, just talk to her tell her how you feel and maybe that might just change her ways cause every once in a while every one needs some love." she said still running her fingers through my hair.

After that we didnt say anything else few minuets later the boys had finished cleaning.

"Kellin, you look tiered you ready to go home?" Vic asked. "Yeah, did you get your clothes?" I asked sitting up from his moms lap. "Yeah I'm all set." he said. "Alright." I said.

I stood up and Vivian did too. "So Kellin, remember what I told you alright." she said giving me a hug. "I will." I said. "And Vic take car of these two." she said. "I will don't worry." he said.

We walked to the door. "Bye Kellin I had a nice time talking to you." she said as we walked out. "I had a nice time talkin to you too." I said. "Goodnight boys." Victor said.

"Goodnight!" we both yelled getting into Vic's car.

I woke up in my bed. Its still night time. Did I fall asleep in the car? Vic isn't in bed with me. "Vic?" I call out. "I'm in the shower!" he yells. I nod in understanding even though he cant see. I get get up.

God I'm thirsty. I walk down stairs and go into the kitchen. I get a glass of water and I lean onto the counter and take a sip and then I sit the glass down.

Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. "Hey babe." I left out a sigh of relief. "Vic you scared the hell out of me." I said. "Who else would it be?" he asked.

"I don't know, Ronnie maybe you never know like he has been trying to get with me for years. You never know he could probable be crazy enough to break in." I said. "I guess that's true," he agreed,

"but he won't do a damn thing to you cause I'm gonna make sure of it." He said, kissing my neck.

"If you keep that up, things other than sleeping will be going on tonight." I said. "Oh really." he said finding my soft spot. "Vic.." I said. "Yes." he smirked. " Just take me upstairs." I said.

"As you wish." he picked me up bridal style and took me upstairs.
