Nightmare last part

Prologue: This is after your nap with Kai

The sun was bright the room was flow and there was a slight breeze entering through the window. My eyes opened to see Kai still awake like he didn't sleep at all. "Kai. Did you sleep?" I asked him with a raspy voice. "for a little then I woke up from a nightmare." Kai said and I felt his body shiver a little. "Kai, you promised no more nightmares," I said hugging him to me. "I'm sorry, this one it just picked up from the last part." Kai's eyes were red like he was crying. "baby" I cooed and kissed him, he kissed me back. "I like that nickname," Kai said with a smile. 

"Do you want to go get some lunch?" I asked Kai and my stomach growled at me. "Sure," he said and we both got out of bed. Kai once again carried me down the stairs, he placed me on the counter again and went to the cabinets to find mac and cheese.  "Will this work?" Kai asked and I nodded, he knows how much I love mac and cheese especially Velveeta mac and cheese. He filled a pot up with water and turned the stove on placing the pot on it. Kai walked back over to me while waiting for the water to boil. He placed his hands on my waist and I straddled my legs around his waist. My arms snaked around his neck and he went down for a kiss. Of course, I returned the kiss, why would I not? Only one thing, the kiss was not breaking, it kept leading into more kisses from the both of us. Is this what making out is? Probably. 

We kept making out until we heard the water boiling then Kai stopped and I frowned. "We will continue that later," he said planting one last kiss before returning to the stove and putting the mac and cheese in the boiling water. "Kai, baby, what do you want to do today?" I asked getting off the counter and walking behind him. "Why don't we watch a movie, and cuddle all day, maybe a little bit of sex," Kai said and we both laughed at the last part. "Maybe," I said biting my lip with a smile. Kai turned back to the food when it was ready and strained the water, then he added the cheese onto the macaroni. He took the wooden spoon and mixed it in then put it into 2 bowls. I took a seat at the table and he sat next to me with the food. 

"Bon appetit," Kai said with a smile that I returned. "Wow, such a romantic lunch" I joked and laughed. "Well, it's the best we can do until we go into the real world and on a real date," he said taking a forkful of mac and cheese. "A real date? I didn't know if you wanted to stay with me after we get out of here." I said and a sad look spread Kai's happy face. I looked down in guilt for making him sad. "Y/n, I wouldn't just run off and leave you, I'm not an ass, I would never leave you, and even if you tried to leave me I would still be a pain in the ass and follow you because mentally and physically, I can't live without you, I love you," Kai said, his eyebrows lightly hooding his eyes, not in a mad way, but in a sad way. His eyes looked filled with pain and I smiled a little at his words. My stomach fluttered with butterflies and my heart pounded in my chest. 

"I love you to Mal," I told him encouraging a smile onto his face. We both finished our food and made our way upstairs. I jumped on the bed and Kai stood at the door admiring me as I moved the pillows to make myself comfy. I finished arranging the pillows and Kai ran up to me and jumped onto the bed. He sat up next to me and put his arm around me pulling me to him. He turned on the TV and we watched Full house.

"Your favorite character is Uncle Jessie? Why?" Kai asked and I laughed. "He's cute," I said and Kai gasped in a sarcastic tone. "I feel offended I think I might just- die," Kai said and fell back on the bed so he was laying down. He closed his eyes and stuck out his tongue. "You're an idiot Malachai Parker," I told him and laid on top of him. "Now, become alive. Woosh!" I said laughing pretending to use magic to bring him back. His eyes opened and his tongue went back into his mouth. I got off of him and he sat up without using his hands, putting them in front of him. "Rawr, I'm frankenstiens monster." Kai said and I laughed, he turned his head to me acting like he was going to attack me. "Rawr," he said jumping on top of me pretending to bite my neck making noises like he was when really his head was just buried into the crook of my neck where my hair fell. I laughed and he tickled my sides I laughed even harder but he stopped and I caught my breath. I hugged my arms around him, he picked up his head to kiss me once. 

"I like us being together, it makes me feel happier" Kai exclaimed and I nodded in agreement. "I mean me happier, but Frankenstein's monster angrier!" Kai said and went back to tickling me, I squirmed beneath him laughing. "Kai! Stop, I can't breathe" I said laughing out of breath and he stopped then kissed me not letting me retrieve the air. I kissed him back then shoved him off me to breathe. "Rude," Kai said with a laugh and I hugged him back to me. He hummed in satisfaction and we both smiled I loved cuddling with him. The day was good, the day was fun, I wanted a day like this every day. I just want to live my life with Kai. Even if it means I'm stuck here. Forever. At least forever is with him.
