Evie and I walked towards the wooden shack. It was almost funny that this was her first time approaching it.
She and I had a deal that would change everything.
We were going to escape.
But to do it we had to do something seemingly impossible.
We had to erase peoples memories.
We kept walking towards the house, not making a sound.
We did have a plan, despite it being a little risky.
Evie could remove memorys, we had tested it. On me. Or at least I think we did..
Anyway, my results averaged 2/5 times, so obviously Evie is better at it right?
So it would obviously make sense for her to erase jsclatts memories, right?
So she is going to do it right?
No.
I am not good at being, well, scary, soooooo...
Gonna leave that to her.
There is a good chance that I will be able to erase his memory.
If not...
I guess Evie will take over.
We walked closer to the house.
I saw the flash of light that came from her slowly drawing her dagger.
She looked at me and nodded.
I nodded back.
She knocked on the door and I could almost feel the determination radiating off of her.
Jsclatt opened the door.
'OH. It's you two again. What do you -'
Before he could finish the sentence, Evie had the dagger to his throat and was pinning him against the wall.
He looked almost bored.
'I am not giving anyone that revive book. Okay?!'
I was confused. What is a revive book?
Did he have to use it to revive people?
Was that what Evie had threatened him about?
Evie snarled.
'we're not here for the revive book.
We are going to erase your memories of us.'
jsclatt laughed.
'then what's the need for the knife? I'll let you erase my memories of you! That really won't be a problem.'
Evie smiled and shook her head a little before replying.
'the knife is a precaution.' then she turned to me, nodding. 'Julia, it's time.'
I breathed and stepped forward, trying to muster as much power as possible.
Jsclatt stood up, pushing the blade away from his neck.
I tried again, but something was wrong.
' I can't do it. I just can't.'
Evie smiled.
'that's okay Julia, let me' she said kindly
Her eyes glowed red, but not just plain red.
A glowing, illuminating red that lit up the room, as well as the forest beyond with the light of a thousand suns.
I was blinded by it, shielding my eyes from it.
When I looked back, the glow had subsided, and jsclatt was crumpled on the floor.
Evie smirked.
'well, that's done, let's go.'
I peered at the unconscious man.
'is he alive?!'
She looked amused.
'he is. I wouldn't kill him. He will wake up in a couple of hours. Probably with a headache, but he won't remember anything about us.
We've got to go now. I want to erase the dream smps memories before it gets dark.'
I nodded, and followed her out of the shack.<timeskip because I am at school and I am lazy as fuck >
We stood on the hilltop, staring at the country beneath us.
I saw a l'manburg flag flutter in the distance, and felt a jolt of pride go through me.
'are you sure you want to do this?'
Evie wanted to do it, I was sure.
I stiffened my resolve, telling myself that I could go back with a different identity.
'yes. I want to do this.'
Evie nodded and took a deep breath.
'even with Wilbur?'
I would miss him. But this was necessary. And besides, Evie was probably right, Attachment went deeper than memories. I think.
'do it.'
Her eyes glowed red again, and I saw a red light swoop across the land, all the way to the horizon.
It was quicker this time, and soon I heard a few resounding thuds, signifing bodies hitting the floor.
Evie turned to me, looking exhausted.
'well I guess now we just gotta hope no one was on a ladder.'
And she collapsed into my arms
