Sams POV
I've had my fair share of fucks after a night out, but never wanted to settle down. I've enjoyed it just being Kayleigh and myself, but times are changing and they are changing fast. I knew the moment Kayleigh hadn't heard from Ethan for those weeks that she was done for. She had unknowingly given her heart away to someone she had never met. I was skeptical and unsure if he was really who he said he was. Until Kayleigh opened that door. The moment thief eyes locked I knew without a doubt that id have to share my best friend. My heart hurt and soared at the same time. Hurt because it's been us for so long. And soared because she deserves to be loved. And that man standing at the front door was in love with my best friend. His eyes said it all. They are of course the window to our souls. I wanted to shed a tear I was so happy for her.
Standing behind Ethan at roughly 6 feet to my 5'7 was a very stern serious looking man. And man his face was so strong and those tattoos down his arms. As I continued to roam his body his tattoos traveled down his legs, no leg. He was the most beautiful man I've ever seen. He cocked his eye brow at me and I smiled. I guess Kayleigh is being a little rude with no introductions. Guess I'll embarrass her. It is my favorite pass time.
Through the night everything was perfect. While I kept Blake busy so Kayleigh and Ethan could talk I'd come to know his background and him mine. Blake grew up in Mobile with Ethan since they were teens. Blake was in foster homes and Ethans grandmother did the best she could to care for the them. Apparently Blake's mother left him at birth and no one knew of who his father was. He was adopted with his last family home where he grew up, but he never called it home. He told me about how Ethan was your typical playboy in high school and never wanted anything serious because he knew he was born to go into the military. So no need to leave a girlfriend behind who wouldn't last with his love for his career. I also asked about his injury and he told me he was in Iraq when his hummer was hit with a road side bomb. He was one of three to survive and that Ethan was in the hummer behind him. Said he knew that day that he would always be there for him no matter what life threw. Ethan saves their lives that day and was deemed a hero. I now knew without a doubt that Ethan was the best thing for Kayleigh. I just hope they can work through everything.
I told Blake about how my family raised Kayleigh since junior year because her no good mother was ratchet and her father was a pilot and went MIA when she was 2. He asked what my occupation was and I told him that I was in finance at a Fortune 500 company called Pharmaceutical Product Development and also invested in loads of stocks. The surprise in his face was comical. Yes I'm pretty and highly intelligent. Only with numbers. I have a 154 IQ almost genius level. I don't brag and don't use it for anything other than numbers. Any other time I'm a moron with a great personality. We told jokes and played around in the pool until we realized Kayleigh and Ethan were going at each other on the patio. Man. I'm so happy for the both of them. They deserve a happy ever after. One day it will be me. I'll be the best man - of - honor for their wedding. They just don't know it yet.
Blake - lets embarrass them.
Sam - perfect
Once Kayleigh and Ethan disappeared into the house things started to spark more between Blake and I. They were taking forever and I was glad for it. I kept swimming closer and closer to where he was standing against the side of the pool. I stood up in front of him and cocked my eye brow. You're beautiful. You're sexy. All these tattoos Blake. Maybe one day I'll tell you about them. At this point I'm inches away from him. He grabs my waist and smashes his lips against mine. Now until this moment I wasn't even sure if I was seeing the right signs, but now oh boy do I. I wrap my legs around his waist and grind against him. Letting him know what he's done to me. I've been hard since the moment he walked out without a shirt on. Even more when he took off his prosthetic and dove into the pool. Now he knows. Is that how I make you feel Sam. Do I make your cock hard. Feel what you do to me Sam. Hmm. I rub my hand on the front of his swim trunks and feel him. Oh so strong. God to feel his velvet skin. I want you Sam. Ditto babe.
