Chapter 31

"Woah! Your play was so good!" Aika exclaimed to Tohru as she stood with the rest of her cousins, as Aika's class were getting ready for the performance 

"Thank you so much! Are you performing now Aika?" Tohru questioned as Aika nodded with a smile

"Yes, and i hope you can all stay and watch it" Aika smiled while Yuki looked down at his watch 

"I should have some time to watch it" Yuki stated with a smile while Aika face brighten at the comment as she looked towards Haru and Momiji. 

"Yes! And i will get it on film!" Momiji shouted while Haru nodded along with him. Hiro and Kisa doing the same while Aika smiled brightly 

"Good, i want you all to be there" Aika smiled before someone shouted her name "I'm sorry but i have to get ready. Thank you" Aika smiled while Kyo sighed

"What's the big deal about seeing her performance?" Kyo asked walking into the hall as Haru looked at him and shrugged 

"Aika-chan seems excited!" Momiji shouted with a smile as they began to go to their seat

"Yun. Yun!" Kakeru shouted waving over the boy as Yuki eyes furrowed walking towards him as they stood at the back of the hall

"Aren't you supposed to be backstage?" Yuki asked looking at Kakeru as he simple yawned at the words. 

"Yeah but there nothing for me to do, beside i want to watch Aika" Kakeru said with a smile as Yuki looked at him before he smiled slightly before looking back to the stage

"H-Hello!" Emi shouted into a microphone, an embarrassed look on her face as the curtain were still close "We have presented to you a music showcase!" Emi shouted before the curtains raised

Many different people either sang, had a music solo with their instrument or even just had a danced party, when the hour was coming to an end. Emi walked back on stage with the same microphone 

"Our last show case is Aika Sohma" Emi stated before many people started to cheer including a brown haired boy as Yuki sweatdropped at the volume 

"She will be singing Yakusoku" Emi stated with a smile before the curtain raised again to reveal Aika stood on the stage, in a simple white dress and blue ribbon in her hair as she was also wearing white glove. The piano started playing 

'If possible, We are reborn at that time i will look for you'

Aika looked up as she soon met Kakeru's eyes as she smiled slightly at him

'Don't say sad things like i don't want anything in my next life' 

'Your smiling face, in that place while chewing candy'

'Forever and ever'

Kakeru eyes were wide as he looked at her, Aika was looking at him as well while the rest of the Sohma's eyes were wide 

'But i will go far and i hope you can find a person who is precious to you' 

Aine smiled sadly as Kakeru stiffens in his place while Kyo watched with a clenched face as Yuki just looked shocked

'At this long lifetime' 

There are meetings and farewells' 

'It doesn't matter, i just want to say thank you' 

Yuki's eyes were fully wide at this point as Aika was looking at Kakeru, this song was to him and he knew it. Yuki looked down after that 

'When you smile like a child, You always hide your sad face'

'Forever and ever' 

Kyo had clenched fists as he looked down in regret as Tohru had tears in her eyes while Haru wore a frown, Momiji still recording while Kisa and Hiro just watch sincerely. 

'If one day i am lost, When i look back there is you' 

'i feel i can smile again' 

Kakeru's eyes were locked onto Aika, as Emi backstage had tears in her eyes watching while Aika only wore a sad smile raising her hand towards Kakeru 

'I want to tell you, Thank you'

Aika soon had tears streaming down her face while the rest of the audience was in awe at her performance while Yuki watched Kakeru with concern.

"If we are reborn, I will look for you'

'I hope you are that same person, with the same smile'

The performance ended with a round of applause as Aika wiped her tears and bowed to the crowd with a wide smile on her face while the Sohma's and Tohru were still left in shock as she left. 

"Kakeru?" Yuki questioned looking at the boy who simple stood there before Kakeru looked back with a blush 

"Aika is amazing! i was blown away!" Kakeru shouted while Yuki slightly looked surprised before he smiled at the boy. Unknown to Yuki Kakeru had clenched fists. 

"Kakeru!" Aika shouting coming down the hall as she still wore her white dress. Yuki and Kakeru stood in the hall after they had stopped the bullies from upsetting Machi. 

"Aika!" Kakeru shouted smiling widely as Yuki looked at the two, more specifically Aika still in her white dress. 

"I was looking all over for you" Aika stated as she breath heavily, Kakeru laughed towards the girl as he smiled 

"Sorry, I was protecting the school from evil!" Kakeru shouted with a wide smile as both Yuki and Aika sweatdropped at the boy. 

"Aika, Why are you still wearing that?" Yuki questioned as Aika looked at him and then down at her dress before she blushed

"Kakeru said i looked cute, so i decided to wear it as we go around the festival" Aika mumbled while Kakeru blushed rubbing the back of his neck as Yuki glared before grabbing his ear

"Don't put you dirty thought on my cousin" Yuki glared while Kakeru screamed holding his ear as Aika began to become confused "I suppose i can come up with an excuse to give Nao so you two can go round the festival"

"Thank you Yuki!" Aika smiled widely as Yuki simple smiled back before an arm draped around his shoulder 

"yeah thank you Yun, Yun" Kakeru teased wrapping an arm around his shoulder as Yuki wore an annoyed expression

"You should go before i change my mind" Yuki stated whacking Kakeru's hand away before the silver hair boy walked away. Aika smiled at him before she grabbed Kakeru's hand.

"Let's go and have fun!" Aika smiled grabbing his hand while Kakeru also laughed, the two smiling at one another but as Aika smiled she was thinking of something else
