'I was never close to my father, I only ever saw him when he was sick and I was told it may be the last time I can see him. He never held me or loved me like he did with Akito. So i looked for it elsewhere'
"Mama" a small voice echoed as a certain dark haired woman's eyes widened as she turned her eyes darting to the small child who looked up at her.
"You... Your that child" Ren mumbled eyes wide as the white haired child messed with her Kimino
"Your mama?" She questioned, the young child was only 2, barely could walk on her own before she smiled "Mama
"Akira" Ren mumbled looking at the child as she smiled though that was soon interrupted as a hand grabbed Aika dragging her
"You brat! You can't go near that woman you understand!" The old maid was soon shouting at her as Aika had tears in her eyes
"But she mama" Aika cried as the older women gripped the child by the shoulder tightly as Aika's eyes widened
"She doesn't care for you, she gave birth to you as a tool to get back at Akito and to win Akira again. She doesn't love you. Your job is to stay by Akito!" the women yelled
'When she told me that, my heart sank. All I wanted was a parent to love me but I didn't care because I had her. I had my big sister but then the unthinkable happened'
"Papa" Aika stated looking down at the man who rested on the bed, Akito hadn't gotten there yet but he was dying.
"Aika" Akira started with a croaky voice as he lifted his hand and rested it on her face as her eyes widened looking at the man she's known as father "You have to stand by Akito, you have to be there for her" he stated while Aika's eyes were wide
"Papa" Aika stated before she gasped feeling something placed in her hand as she looked down to see a chain, she looked back up at the man known as her father as he smiled.
"Father!" Akito shouted, running in with tears as Aika slowly got up and let Akito sit where she was. The young child hid the chain behind her
'I never knew why he gave me that, but I listened as he said such sweet words to Akito, how he told her she was special and that he would always be with her. I didn't mind though because I had Akito'
'I saw her so sad, she was so sad our father had died, i wanted to cheer her up but i didn't know that day would lead me to the life i have now'
"Big sister!" Aika yelled running towards her as Akito smiled taking the child into her arm as she smiled widely
"Aika" She smiled hugging her younger sister as Aika smiled widely into the hug before Aika looked up at her and held a red string.
"Sister, this shows our bond" Aika smiled wrapping the red string around Akito's finger as the dark hair small child eyes widened
"But we already have a bond" Akito stated with a chuckle using her other hand to pat the white hairs head as Aika chuckled
"No, not the Zodiac bond but as Sisters" Aika smiled looking up at Akito with a cheerful smile "Even without the Zodiac we would have a bond because were sister, were family" AZika smiled leaning her head on Akito's as she smiled
"Yeah we do" Akito smiled
'I didn't know anything else other then my big sister, she was all i had and i never questioned why i wasn't allowed to see anyone else or play with any of the other child, but that soon changed after'
