"Your going out and having a party with student council?" Aika asked smiling at the brown haired boy as they walked down the street, hand in hand.
"Yep, Kimi organised it for the new year" Kakeru smiled as Aika nodded and looked up at Kakeru.
"It should be fun" Aika stated before she looked over at Kakeru with a pout "Yet you look so down" Aika stated poking his cheek
"Hmm, It's Machi" Kakeru stated with a sign as Aika tilted her head and looked at him
"You sister?" Aika questioned as Kakeru nodded with a sigh, his other hand going to his face rubbing it "I've been thinking maybe i need to formally introduce myself to her!" Aika shouted as Kakeru laughed
"Yeah, well she does have a thing for Yuki" Kakeru laughed as Aika eyes sparkled looking up at the brown haired boy
"Really? Awe that would be so great and then we can all go out together, then we can be like a large famil-" Aika stated before she stopped herself, a wide blush on her cheek as Kakeru looked at her.
"I've been thinking Aika" Kakeru stated as Aika stopped her flushing messed and looked at him, her eyes widened slightly on how serious he looks.
"What's going to happen with us when we graduate?" Kakeru asked as Aika's eyes were wide, her hair blowing in the wind, it was like time had stopped
'What do i say to that, should i tell him the truth or should i avoid the question' Aika thought with a sigh as she rested in her traditional japanese room at the main Sohma estate 'I can't think of that now, i have to put a smile on for today'
"Aika" a voice interrupted as the white haired girl turned to see Kureno and Akito stood by the door. Aika smiled at Akito.
"Oni-chan. Happy new year" Aika smiled getting up as Akito smiled at their younger sister "Happy new year Kureno" she nodded at him
"Happy new year"Kureno smiled as Akito nodded, they looked at Aika before they looked away while Akito sighed
"I can't be bothered to go back and forth so you can join us at the banquet" Akito stated while Aika's eyes lightened up
"Thank you Oni-chan" Aika smiled as Akito simple nodded and they made there way to a certain hall. As Aika walked in she smiled at everyone and waved.
Aika watched with a smile, beside Akito as Hatori did his new year performance though Aika kept glancing back at Yuki who was on the other side of Akito in concern.
"Aika, Don't go off" Akito stated as the girl stiffened as she was caught waving at the other as she smiled nervously as Akito.
"Of course not" Aika smiled though her eyes became confused as Yuki stayed there, sitting beside Akito as Aika was filled with concern for the boy.
"So Yuki, You didn't run this time? That good" Akito began as Aika looked down "I'm very happy you've come back to me" Akito continued as Aiak gripped her fists "So happy I've decided im going to forgive you"
"But i want you to visit more often from now on" Akito finished with a smirk while Aika signed before her eyes widened
"Akito, I've been thinking and.. I guess i forgive you too" Yuki stated as Aika's eyes were wide as she looked towards Yuki who wore a happy look in his eyes "Maybe that the wrong word"
"But.. I'm sick of blaming others. So I'm done . I have flaws, Weaknesses. I need to accept that they exist and recognise them for what they are instead of denying them or i'll always be an idiot" Yuki states as Aika's eyes were wide
"Truth is, If i keepy shifting the blame then I'll never change and i want to" Yuki finished as Aika looked at him with a genuine smile and encouragement lifted inside of her though her smile soon changed once she heard a voice
"What's that?" Akito questioned as Aika and Yuki looked at them "That look, that same look" Akito stated as Aiak grew more concern especially when she saw Akito reaching for her cup
"Akito no-" Aika shouted trying to reach for it but it was too late, the cup had already been smashed on Yuki's head as everyone eyes widened looking at the scene.
"Apologize!" Akito shouted while Kureno rushed stopped Akito' before they could do anymore. Aika's eye were wide as she saw the blood gushing down Yuki's head "Do i now! Apologize! Apologize!"
"Sorry" Yuki stated as Aika watched Akito walk away and Kureno chasing after her
"Yuki! What on earth happened?! Your bleeding, my beloved!" Aya came rushing over as well as Haru as Aika sat there still in shock before she snapped out of it.
"Yuki, I'm sorry are you okay?" Aika asked in concern while Yuki looked at her.
"I'm fine, It's not that bad" Yuki stated but before anything Aya had picked Yuki up and took him to follow Hatori as Aika watched, her face distorted as she looked to the ground
"Don't blame yourself" A voice stated as Aika looked up to see the gentle smile of Haru looking at her as she nodded
"Thank you Haru" she smiled as well as smiling at the rest of them who smiled in return. Aika soon stood up and made her way to the door "I'm still going to go and check on him.
"Hey Yuki" Aika smiled as he came out of Hatori's office, Hatori followed after him before he smiled and walked off, Yuki stayed there.
"Is everything okay Aika?" Yuki questioned as Aika smiled at him
"Do you want to go on a walk with me?" Aika questioned as Yuki simple smiled and nodded and the two made their way out of the house. Aika looking up at the starry night.
"You know, what you said before about blaming other?" Aika questioned as Yuki hummed and looked at her "It reminded me, i use to blame you" Aika stated with a smile
"What for?" Yuki asked dumbfounded while Aika just chuckled and smiled at Yuki before she wore an expression on her face, one could not describe
"For taking my Oni-chan away" Aika stated before she laughed loudly, Yuki looked at her in surprise "Such a childish way of think and then i actually met you and i realised you weren't someone i could blame, you were someone i could relate to" Aika stated with a laugh as Yuki looked at her
"Aika, What's wrong? You never bring up the past unless something is bothering you" Yuki states while Aika frowned, she looked back at her cousin with a sad expression
"I don't know what to do" Aika stated with a frown as Yuki's eyes widened seeing a single tear fall from the girls eye, the mood highlighting her purple eyes.
