Finals Part Two| 12

Ryaln POV

I look over and Coach Rielly looks pissed, he's going off on the team saying stuff like they won't make the team next year I couldn't help but laugh a bit.  I was heading on the ice and got the puck when someone stole the puck from me, and to my surprise it was Sanders.  He skated down the ice and headed to the net, then Karp tripped him and got the puck and brought it to the blue line.  Right then Mcgill got the puck and turned the play around I tried hitting at him and lifting his stick but it was no use, Mcgill always knew my moves and how to avoid them.  He then passed the puck to Sanders who went back hand and scored, I was mad but I knew we could get it back.  We all gathered around the bench as Coach told us his plan to get back another goal.

I sat down next to Connie as we watched the game, I see that the team was passing the puck to one another until Tammy started skating infront of the net.  She was spinning for what seemed like forever, all of the Hawks were mesmorized by what she was doing.  " Now!" I hear Tommy yell, she then stops spinning and puts her stick on the ice and Tommy passes the puck to her and she tips it in and scores.  We all jump up and down cheering for the goal, we were now only one goal down.  Me and Connie hugged each other and cheered with the rest of the team, just as Tammy was coming off the ice she did a quick spin and got shoved over by Mcgill player.  Fulton got super mad at him and jumped over the boards and flipped him over the bench.  I looked over and started laughing at him but I was cut short by Fulton getting kicked out of the game. 

I was on the bench and Coach calls me and the "Oreo Line" over to see him, "Alright guys show me the flying V!" he told us.  I was ready to try it because we were prcaticing it for a while and were ready to show it off.  We did a quick line change and I headed on defence so the "Oreo line" could lead the V, Jesse took the puck and did a few spins around our zone then headed behind the net.  

" FLYING V!" Coach yells to everyone.  We all joined him behind the net and started skating up in a V position, we were all passing the puck to one another until I did the final pass to Jesse who stopped at the blue line.  We all went to shove down tha players on the other team then Jesse skated in and took his shot it and scored!  We all cheered and skated up and hugged him while the crowd went crazy, I skated back near my bench and passed Sanders, " You like that prinsses?" I ask with a huge grin plastered on my face skating away.  We all gave high fives to Coach and the team.  

There was just under a minute left in the game and the Hawks were in our zone, Larsson shot it and Goldberg made a huge save.  I then got the puck and quickly passed it to Charlie who skated up the ice on a breakaway,  just as he was getting to the net he gto hooked by Mcgill and fell to the ground.  We all go and check up on Charlie to see if he was ok and went to go see Coach, "Alright guys who wants to take it?" he asked us.  Everyone started saying different people's name or how they should take it.

" I think Rylan should take it," Charlie says to everyone, my eyes widen, "I can't take the shot on the Hawks goalie he knows all of my moves," I respond to him.

" What about Charlie?" Coach says to all of us,  everyone starts comenting why Charlie should take it.  " I think Charlie sould take the shot," I say giving him a pat on the back, "He deserves it."

He gave me a quick hug and then we all agreed that he was going to take the shot.  We all went on the bench and Charlie skated to center ice where the referee instructed him on what to do.  We all started cheering for him on the bench aswell as the crowd joining in.  

The ref blew his whistle and Charlie started to skate with the puck, I knew straight from the begining that he was gonna do the triple deke.  I looked at him and counted 1..2......3 he shot the puck as hard as he could and went top corner and scored!

We all starte cheering for him and skated on the ice trowing our helemts and gloves, boy I wish Adam were here to celebrate with us.  We all huddled on the ice cheering as loud as we could, I then skate over to the Hawks bench and stop just at the edge so the couldn't see me.  " What a shot am I right?" I say with a huge grin on my face, "Maybe next year kiddos.  Oh and also Sanders your nose is bleeding again," right after I said that I skated away to see the rest of my team.  I gave Charlie a huge hug, " You did it Charlie, you got the winning goal!" I said braking the hug.  "I couldn't have done it with out you if you didn't help Coach with saying that I should take the shot we wouldv'e lost."

Just then I look in the crowd and I see Brian and Mrs. Banks cheering for us, I never knew that they came to the game.  I waved up at them then looked over to see that Guy and Connie were kissing!  Holy shit I thought to myself, we were only twelve and they're already making out damn.  I see this man come up to us with a huge trophy in his hands and he gives to me, I start holding it up and everyone joins in by cheering and chanting.  " Ducks, Ducks, Ducks, Ducks," while throwing our fists in the air.
