There is nothing more hurtful than knowing no one takes pride in anything you have ever done or said. There is nothing more heartbreaking than being able to feel my heart weakly beating to the rhythm of the dead rather than the rhythm of the flourishing trees. There is nothing more soul-sucking than feeling as though you have no soul at all. And there is no worse feeling than feeling nothing but sadness and nothing at all in the same moment.
