Jasmin's POV
I was walking to the sandlot the next day when I saw Benny run up to me "Hi Benny!"
Hey Jasmin! I'm surprised your up early he said " yeah usually I sleep in but I really wanted to play baseball so I got up early and got ready" Yeah we always start early for some reason I guess to get more time in to play he said and chuckled I laughed a little to we started talking more on the way and learned more and more about each other once we got to the sandlot I saw the girls run up to me and pull me across the field " I sooo ship you two" Kate said "I do too" Samantha and Scarlett said at the same time. I laughed and said " we are just friends guys plus I don't think he likes me in that way" well I think you guys are so cute together and we are so talking more about this tonight! Scarlett said "Wait guys should we spy on the boys tonight I heard they are having a sleepover in the tree house and see what they say and see what boys really do at sleepovers we all giggled and went to our positions they were all really good I was to but they were good especially Benny I knew he was going to play for the MLB someday I just knew it.
Benny's POV
We were playing baseball I was the first to hit I quickly glanced and Jasmin who was staring at me by quickly glances away and focuses on the game I smirked and get back to the game we play for a few more hours but we call it quits early cause we all were having our own sleepovers and wanted to get ready so we go our separate ways, I as normal walk with Jasmin and we talk the whole way home and when we finally get home we say goodbye and run inside, I quickly run upstairs and pack my stuff and run downstairs my parents or sister wasn't home they were all at work so I grab a pop-tart for "dinner" and make my way to the tree house.
Jasmin's POV
I pack my stuff and get ready to leave I walk downstairs and start to head out I open the front door and see Benny leaving as well so I run over to him "hey you" I say heyyy he said we start walking cause Kates house is right by the tree house when we got half way there he carries me on his back the rest of the way ok this is my stop bye Benny see you tomorrow I wave him goodbye and knock on the door Kate quickly opens it and pushes me in "ok follow me" she giggles and we run down this long hallway to her room we get in there and I see Scarlett and Samantha talking and laughing on the bed we join them and talk and play truth or dare for hours it started getting dark so we decided to bring flashlights and we sneak out her bed room window we run across the street and through an alley way until we see the tree house we climb up the ladder and look through the window and listen very carefully.
Yeah yeah's POV
Hey Benny so we want to ask you some questions I say the rest of the guys chuckle, Yeah what's up he said So how about you and Jasmin do you guys have a thing going on?? All of us listen to Benny and I think smalls brought a notepad but whatever all we needed was him to get all his feelings out we wanted to know everything every little detail.
Benny's POV
Well to be honest I kinda like her but I just don't want to tell her actually to be honest I like her a lot! And I don't know if she likes me and also do I tell her or not?!? I look at the guys who were just staring at me like I needed help or something "WHAT IT NIT EVERYDAY YOU MEET A BEAUTIFUL GIRL" I say and I realized I said that out loud I covered my mouth and look at the guys the started cracking up laughing all the said and kept repeating "benny's in love benny is in LOVE" I started laughing and we just have a good time.
Small's POV
Ok I want to get this straight Benny likes Jasmin, Samantha and Squints are dating like bro what are the rest of us supposed to do?!? The guys start laughing and looking at me "smalls it's better to be single is single people don't have to share food" ham says also I want to know is, is it true yeah yeah likes Kate cause you two would make a great couple! The guys all agree except for yeah yeah he just looks at the ground all red like a cherry. Ok to be honest I like her a lot yeah yeah says but we always are joking around that I think she just likes me as a friend and nothing more than that. We all cheer him up and get back to playing games and just talking and bonus ham taught me how to make s'mores!
Jasmin's POV
I couldn't believe what I just heard Benny Rodriguez likes me! I couldn't believe my ears Kate couldn't believe hers cause we both just heard that our crushes like us Samantha and Scarlett start laughing and we realized we were still in the tree house we start running back to Kates house before the boys saw us and once we got home we were tired from the night so we decided to go to bed.
