I was never one to initiate the first kiss.
With Daehyun, it was different.
He looked so peaceful sleeping with me in his arms that I just had to have a taste.
I gently ghosted my lips across his, jerking back slightly when his eyelids fluttered open.
"No Youngjae..." Daehyun's voice was raspy with sleep, which didn't help my situation of wanting to kiss him at all. "Don't stop."
My gaze flicked up to meet his blue orbs that were shining with love and admiration, and I couldn't say no.

"Rise and shine, Sleeping Beauty!" Daehyun chuckled. "Well...you aren't a beauty looking like that- OW!"
I threw a pillow at him and hoped it hit him in the head. Although he can't afford to lose more brain cells. That's ironic how I'm saying that, considering he's probably way smarter than me.
"What was that for?" Daehyun rubbed his arm, pouting. Damn. How could I miss his big head?
I sat up and groggily rubbed my eyes. "Maybe you should just focus on complimenting me." I blinked a couple of times to adjust my vision, nearly having a heartattack when I noticed where we were.
"When the hell did we move to your bedroom?!" I squeaked. "I thought we were on the c-couch!" Panic started coursing through my veins. "We didn't...you know..."
Daehyun's eyes formed crescents as he smiled. "I moved you in the middle of the night. Glad I did because, wow, I didn't know you had such a frisky side to ya." He winked.
I was on the verge of tears as he climbed out of bed, putting his feet into his slippers. "W-what?!"
The agent bursted out laughing. "I'm just pulling your leg. But lose some weight, fatty!" Daehyun walked out of the room, leaving me fuming.
"AGH!" I yelled. Oh, he would pay. I rolled out of the bed, Daehyun's bed, and followed the cackling hyena into the kitchen.
I plopped down on one of the island stools and gazed over at him. "So, what's for breakfast, my lovely wife?" I chortled at his facial expression. "Is there a problem?"
Daehyun grit his teeth and looked ready to snarl at me something clever, but was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
We both froze in place.
My eyes were wide with fear. "D-daehyun? Who's at the door?"
His hand slapped over my mouth and he lowered his voice an octave as he whispered hastily in my ear. "Shush! Do you want him to hear you?"
I tried to mumble an apology, but he squeezed his hand tighter, preventing me from making a noise. "Now when I tell you to, you're gonna run out the back door and keep running until you get to somewhere safe. Do you understand?"
I nodded frantically and he dropped his hand. "Good. Get ready..." Daehyun moved over to the door, pulling a gun out of his pocket.
"Wait! How will you find me?" I asked, my tears from earlier returning to me. "I can't lose you, Dae."
"Trust me, I'll find you! Now go, dammit!" He grunted and turned to face the door, just as it smashed open, revealing an angry-looking Jung Daehyun.
The Matoki had found me.
Panicked, I turned on my heel and busted my ass out the back door, not once looking back.

I tapped my finger against my coffee mug.
Almost two hours had gone by, and I was beyond worried about Daehyun. Hell, 'worried' isn't even close to what I'm feeling right now.
How could I be so stupid and just leave him alone there? Sure, he was trained for that kind of stuff, but I didn't even think about staying to help!
I had found a small café a few blocks away from Daehyun's house. I had no clue what he meant by "safe", so I just figured that this was good enough. But, knowing me, this is probably the Matoki Headquarters and I'm just waiting to get captured.
I raised the mug to my lips, blowing off some of the steam before inhaling the sweet aroma and taking a small sip. The coffee sizzled on my tongue, sending volts of warmth through my body.
Suddenly, the front door of the restaurant flew open.
I dropped the coffee cup, the contents spilling all over me and the table.
"Daehyun?" I took a step towards the man standing in the doorway.
"...yeah. It's me." I was so happy to see him that I completely missed the devilish smirk on his face as I threw my arms around him.
